Hell I played in a Rifts campaign where I was a godling, a 12 son of Thoth. I had a goddess as one of my summons cause I was a Shifter. She wouldn't refer to people as child... she was a blood goddess.

Godesses are diverse. There is no one personlity trait that defines Goddess.
