Gladiator is a beast and a lot of people is going to hate this but physically he's over almost any top tier I know of.

That doesn't hold any weight here. Writers are Apocalypse kryptonite, choosing whenever can anyone beat him.
And about AoA, you do know that Apocalypse defeated him also along with Bishop and could kill him, but again, of course writers didn't chose that.
Then you have in AOA mentioned that Nate is so powerful that could rival Apocalypse power and then you have 50% Magneto killing him.
And then you have recently Bishop saying they couldn't kill him along with Stryfe going all out and Apocalypse at his weakest.
Yeah, writers are his kryptonite and were in many cases.
That is why writers said they want to bring him to his old, classic levels, when he was a beast and not his shitty showing.
