Thanos would win because of his intellect and tactics. V would be baseline more powerful, but thanos has far more than just strength on his side.

He's just rediculous. The powergem would be a play thing for a PC character of superstrength. They all had unlimited strength lol.

Is this fight direct power matchup, or is Thanos allowed to use telepathy against him? Because I believe that one of the Fatal Five controls Validus with telepathy, don't they?

In straight power matchup Thanos loses, although not as badly as some people think...

Validus is totally immune to TP. The Fatal Five control him, because he's basically retarded. 😛 And dude? A guy who beat down 3 PC Krytonians and did great against the LSH? How does Thanos not get curbstomped? 😑

Could go toe to toe with PG/WM Thor,

Matched In-Betweener's power,

Fought against Hulk, Hercules, Thor and Thing at the same time,

Hurt Galactus with his blasts,

Defeated an copy who was equal to him in power,

Defeated Kosmos,

Defeated the Fallen One,

Went against Morg with WOL and defeated him,

Survived an explosion of a being that was above Galactus level,

Killed Surfer in few panels. With nothing but his fists,

Showed that a single blast from him had more force then Hulk, Hercules, Human Torch, Rogue, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Puck, Vision, Colossus and Thor combined,

Matched Tyrant in strength,

Killed Adam Warlock in two panels,

Among other things.

Like I said. Validus wins. But it won't be a curbstomp. And I've read through the Validus Respect thread too. And while Validus has better feats, Thanos's don't excatly pale in comparision. 😬
