Follow my Train of thought.1. I re-read my Issue of 'What If : The Avengers were the pawns of Korvac.
2. Within said Comic LT is summoned to deal with Korvac, he ages the sun so that it goes Nova. It fails, to put things simply. LT then leaves stating he's 'Done all he can'.
The Tri-Judge was lying because,
LT also disconnected Korvac's Universe,
and sealed it from the rest of the Multiverse with a thought. 😄

I'm not sure if Samson ever beat the Hulk,
but Samson did stalemate a raging Bannerless Hulk for 6 Hours.
He never lost, the fight was stopped because of a reporter women that got caught in the midst of the battle, so Samson saved her and Hulk leaped away.
Samson also knocked the Hulk out once with one right hook,
but the Hulk was calm and caught off guard. (still cool feat)
