This sounds like your downplaying Samson' feat of stalemating a raging Bannerless Hulk.

Samson theorized the Hulk's strength wasn't limitless, but the Hulk's rage still made him stronger.

I mean 100class Herc, 95class Iron-Man, 95class Wonder-Man, 85class Submariner and host of heroes jumped the Hulk and couldn't stop him, they finally did but after half the country was torn apart.

Samson stalemated that SAME Hulk, on his own.

Give the guy his credit do. 🙂

I know Samson caught the Hulk off guard, I stated that with my post.

But on the other hand,

Samson did in fact stalemate the Hulk for 6 Hours and showed no sign of stopping.

Same Hulk, that took on all the Avengers
including Iron-Man, Wonder Man, Sub Mariner and Hercules.

Samson never actually defeated the Hulk, but that's an impressive Feat to say the least.

doesn't samson say that Hulk's strength is +usually+ infinite, but that something was holding that instance of the Hulk back?

was there some explanation in the rest of the comic as to what was holding the Hulk back?
