Mantis can't freeze a being made entirely out of Cosmic energy, and if he/she's destroyed, it can just reform itself and continu on with the battle. (read up on Stardust's powerset.)
Silver Surfer can stop Infinity Man, esp' after Galactus relesed his full power (he is now just under tyrant in power)
Lightray cannot create true stars, at his most powerful he can relise a burst of energy that is like a mineature star (sorta like Human Torch's ultimate Nova Blast). and he can only do that in an emergicy as that move takes most of his power and he will be useless untill he recharges. but other than that what use would he be in this battle ? the heralds literaly eat cosmic energy, most are fast enough to keep up with him and one hit will take him out . (he's not that strong)
Galactus and his heralds are faster and more powerful .
as many parademons that Darkseid has (millions), Tyrant has Servitoids (and each one is at least as strong as Gladiator), plus Galactus has his punisher cyborgs (tons of them too)

First off, mantis doesn't need to freeze him. Anti matter should do the trick nicely. let's see him reform from that. And Surfer isn't taking the IM. IM has uber telepathy that can mess with Surfer's head. Once that is on, he can just peel Surfer out of his shell with his unlimited strength. Or Cut him in half with his beams. As far as Energy goes, What is stopping Takin and Stayne from draining all the heralds dry? If this is a central/neutral battle ground, then Takion and stayne would easily depower all of the heralds. Tyrant, Depowered isn't going to even Take high Father for the Majority. the only threat here would be a fully fed Galactus. Which for this thread, he is not. Going by averages, the New Gods win.

**** him. 👇 It's a shitty thread to begin with. Galactus & co. are way outnumbered and the new gods are powerful enough to bring him down. UN? Try fighting the Worlogog. Tyrant? Meet Stayne & Takion. Galactus? Meet Yuga Khan. Not to mention all the others.
Look, someone said that you'd need 10 skyfathers at the miniumum to bring down a decent Galactus. Which is a fair estimate.
the new gods have 4-6 skyfathers minimum. And that's not even counting Yuga Khan. Or again, the crazy shit like the 'gog, which can you put into abstract level. Or doing things like tapping the god-wave. Or Darkseid and Highfather making more skyfathers.
There are so many options for the new gods team. And Darkseid is well known for robbing powers from other gods and entities. So if Tyrant goes down, what's stopping DS from jacking his power and pumping himself and the others up. Heralds go down fast due to sheer firepower and being outnumbered. Tyrant will get ganked by some of them. And all Yuga Khan has to do is hold Galactus until his son and the rest can gank him.
It's a losing battle for Galactus any way you slice it. and that's not even counting if Galactus didn't use a boom tube...... fear

Role doesn't equal power, else Quazar would be top five.
I didn't see anything from Takion or Stayne that suggests they'd beat Tyrant at his full power, ie galaxy destroying levels.
A huge wipeout blast that Galactus is prone to do, and the numbers are lost in a snap.
From there, it's just cleanup.
And Darkseid doesn't compare to Galactus. Never has, never will.

Removing Galactus from the the universe leads to destruction of the multiverse, i.e. all timelines contained in the multiverse.
And if we're going by forum rules, I'm pretty sure that by default the contest is non CIS/PIS.
A non CIS/PIS Galactus would have ended marvel earth back in the 60's.
And to be fair, the non CIS/PIS ruling also mandates that we actually have darkseid in this contest, not jobberseid who's earned a solid reputation the past several years.
And we should establish this now....Galactus can do every single feat that Darkseid regularly exhibits, with the obvious exception of the omega beams. If you're going to claim that Darkseid > Galactus, I welcome you to create such a thread and witness firsthand the results.
and highfather doesn't have as impressive feats as darkseid.
