ill type slowly: it wasnt up to god to hook a braindead person (a person who's brain, the seat of all their thoughts and presumably their soul, had D-I-E-D) to a machines which keeps the rest of their body alive.
its a really simple concept

Though I'm pro-pull, following your logic (which doesn't resemble our earth logic), if only being God gives you the right to make such decision, I can't decide about my own life? 'Cause I'm not God. God has nothing to do with this, leave him alone already. And by pulling the plug, you wouldn't kill that person, s/he's technically dead.

So if we don't have the right to kill or keep them alive should we put her in some state of half-life?
i dont know about 'right'...i just know that in the face of religion its justified...in fact i would think that keeping a braindead body alive on machines would be an abomination and perhaps even heracy in terms of it kinda being an act of necromancy...100% failure rated necromancy at that.

The reason I could say you can "pull the plug" is because they are only living off of mechanical means and the only reason they did not die naturally is because of our own intervention. Personally, I beleive keeping the basically dead person alive, unless there is some real hope of their recovery, is pointless. It does nothign but postpone the natural way of things -and they are already dead.

Let's say your family member or your best friend is brain-dead. Unable wake up again but technically still alive. Would you pull the tube/plug and end your miserable brain-dead friend's misery?
Yes I would pull the plug if there was no way they could make a recovery.
