By stating the obvious? If that's the case then yes, I'm immature.

Wait, Magic Attack, it's on DVD?!

No, downloading someone else's TiVo of the show.

Damn.

I loved the fact he would hurt Gwen just to get to Pete, really showed his bad side.

You're telling me, that was the last person I was expecting him to go after. And even during the course of the fight, I thought he was bluffing and that he would definitly save her if she fell. Boy was I wrong...

That's one big difference between cartoon and comic Venom. Comic Venom does that stuff for scare tactics, and wouldn't actually have killed her. Cartoon Venom was ready to let her die.

I think the symbiote was at the helm of that decision as we know from Symbiote Spider-Man, the Symbiote cared little for his friends and made Pete aggressive towards them.

I liked this sadistic Venom it was a great way to go...i also liked how he went for Aunt May even though he checked up on her the episode before hand, of course the ending means Venom will return and speaking of that the homage to ASM #317 was great.

Actually, Eddie might be kinda mad at her too. I mean, we all know how much he likes her at this point. And he knows how much she likes Pete.

And the Symbiote made it seem like Pete unmasked himself to Qwen (Halloween) so perhaps he believed she had betrayed him.

You started it.

He's sad, even though he owns one of the world's top research companies. And his costume is a million times more awesome than Mysterio's. His is actually sleek and intimidating(Goblins are scarier than fishbowls). And besides, Mysterio beat Peter with his bare hands and left him to die. Oh, wait, that was Norman. Well, at least Beck killed Gwen Stacey, destroyed the Daily Bugle, found out Spider-Man's secret identity with relative ease, and has beaten Spider-Man more times than almost any other villain, right? Oh wait, that was Norman.

I like Mysterio, but the Green Goblin will always be smarter, stronger, scarier, cooler, and better, and to randomly insult the Goblin will indeed mean backlash.

Goblin's hair sucks!

Oooh you went there.

You mean how Pete won? That wasn't a homage as much as it was adapting from that story.

it was still an homage to that issue, just like Sandman commenting on becoming the Mudman (which he did become in a story once.)

After all the episode was nothing like ASM #17 save the way he was beaten.

It sure as hell took elements from it, adapting from both early Venom stories.

but was it a full blown adaptation...no therefore like the other stories it was a homage to Venom.

It doesn't have to be full blown to still be an adaption.

but it was a homege as well, shall we leave it at that...seems kinda pointless to keep going on about it.

The episode was awesome, end of story. And I liked that Gwen Stacy stepped up her game and let Peter know how she truly felt.

it's going to be a cat fight next season 😂
