yeah and a big Venom fan.

He's a big fan of Venom's money, not Venom. He loves villains that will surely draw people, which is why the first had Green Goblin and the second Dr. Octopus.

Not really he always said he was a Venom Fan, GG and Doc Ock were not his choices and are logically the first steps to go.

come on any venom fan should be disgusted about the way venom was shown in the movie.

damn it. first ruining the movie than the comics.
my second favorite hero was also put out of business (QS)

i surely need a new one...^^

So you blame it on the guy that was just trying to balance it all?

agreed.

I didn't mind Topher's portrayal of Eddie Brock, but yes, Venom could've been handled much better. He's one of Spidey's greatest foes and I feel that Sam Raimi didn't try to do the best possible job with him.

It wasn't his idea. His idea was GG2, Sandman, and Vulture, and build up to venom for Spider-Man 4 with a different director.

The way I see it, they should've let that douche Raimi make a three hour SM-3 as planned.

How's he a douche?

He screwed up Venom. I know that it kinda wasn't his fault, but he still could've handled Venom a bit better. Plus, in general, if you watch his interviews on the DVD's, he seems like an ass.

He seems like a great guy in the interviews, and he told Marvel he couldn't do Venom right, but they didn't care.

That's too bad. He should've been allowed to do a 3 hour movie. A 3 hour Spidey movie would make me nerdgasm.

but i still don't think using 3 villains would have done justice to Venom and TBH most of the middle part of SM3 was boring as all hell, they could have cut that down and made more space for Venom, let's be honest how long does it take for the symbiote to bond with Brock, say 3 mins + 9 mins for getting used to it....there you go, they could have brought him in 12 mins after he is born for a major role for the second half of the film.

How was SM3 boring? It had some of the best fights in any comic book movie.

read what i said....the middle bit...most of the film was boring as hell, with a predictable plot and the whole you love me or you don't which was established in No. 2 i don't want to watch 1 1/3 of there relationship when it's already been covered, come to think of it, i don't really care about the romance part at all.

The only problem's I had was that Mary Jane had a little too much screentime, which could've been used for Venom. Otherwise, I'd have to agree that the movie has some of the best fights in comic book film history.

I didn't mind her screentime, if it wasnt wasted on her trying to sing. 😬
