It's already confirmed that things in season 2 will reveal secrets in season 1, most likely one of them fallowing the Big Man idea of Foswell using an alias that seems large and threatening.

Pfft...I think that seems useless at this point. I mean Foswell has appeared for only brief amount of time. I think Tombs makes a great Big Man and an awesome threat to Spidey.

Michael, everyone knows that in the comics Foswell is the real big man. The Tombstone isn't, it's just a cover up.

And what does he do when he's off screen?
Exactly.

Of course he's only had limited screentime. That'd be the point in covering up he's the Big Man to people who are unaware that he was in the comics.

Yep just like everyone knows that Montana is Shocker in the comics too! 🙄

Bottom line, this isnt the comics.

You're right! Aunt May is going to be Carnage since it isn't the comics!

Thats idiotic to say. I think everyone can agree that Shocker is more of a major villain than the big man. A change to him should be less widely accepted.

As for Foswells off screen time. Ever consider he was just doing you know....MINOR character stuff...?

So? It's still an adaption.

So? Shocker is still Montana. And Tombstone is still the Big Man for all we know.

I asked for proof and all you can provide is. Foswell is the Big Man in the comics and that he hasnt had much screen time. Gotta watch out for Liz Allen, she hasnt had much screen time either....She's up to something.... 🙄

You're just being stubborn. Anyone can tell that Tombstone is a cover up because he refers to the Big Man in third person. If he's the Big Man, why does he need to refer to himself in third person ALL THE TIME?

Agreed.

Yep, the signs are pretty clear but hey, if he wants to ignore 'em, let him go ahead.

On a sidenote, I hope we start getting superhero cameos by the second or third season.

Actually, Myers has a point. There is absolutely nothing that points to foswell being the big man. You guys are the ones being stubborn.

The only sign that points to tombstone not being the big man is him refering to himself in third person, but that hardly proves anything. The dudes already admited that he was responsible for he creation of the super villains. And we all know the big man is the one who ordered it.

At the moment, Tombstone is the bigman, and there is nothing anyone has that can prove otherwise.

For one, if he were truly the Big Man, he wouldn't refer to himself in third person. Second of all, if he were the Big Man, Spidey would have never even met him or gotten close to meeting him & knowing who he is. Someone as powerful as the Big Man wouldn't be such a public person like Tombstone is.

For one, like I said, the third person thing doesn't prove anything.

Second, he was easy to get close to because him being the big man is public knowledge (or, it was). He just convinced everyone he's clean. Spidey is the only one who isn't fooled. He probably wouldn't have found him if he wasn't tipped off by the bugle. Or maybe he would have. He did in comics, and this version seems to be just as smart as comic spidey.

And how would you know the someone like the big man woldn't be public? Someone with so much money not being public would attract the government and arouse suspicion. The kingpin in comics is just like Tombstone. He was public and he was powerful.

And there is still nothing pointing towards foswell being the big man.

Yeah, not now, because it's going to come as a twist later on. It's so damn obvious that anyone who is a true Spider-Man fan knows it & can see it happening. I never believed Tombstone was the Big Man for one second & he isn't. Of course nothing is going to point to Foswell being the Big Man because it'll be a surprise for people who don't know a lot about the whole Big Man situation. I seriously doubt they'd introduce Foswell only to have him not be pulling the strings.

So being a spiderman fan gives you knowledge of the future?

Your logic is flawed. Is it possible that foswell is the big man and tombstone isn't? Yes. But is it also possible that tombstone really is the big man? Definitely.

Truth is, you've got nothing but a hunch based of knowledge of a comic book that has already been established as different from the spectacular series. Nothing more. Untill the series decides to make foswell be the bigman, thats all it will ever be.

Now could we leave this thing alone? Otherwise, it could turn into pointless debate that could go on for weeks until someone gets a definite answer.

At the moment, I'm more interested in learning what they have planed for next seasons opening episode.

Until i watch the episode where Tombstone is no longer shown as the bigman then i will continue to believe he is in the show, honestly the only real excuse you guys have for him is he talks in third person, perhaps he likes to reiterate is superiority.

Let's remember that this is not by and by the comics here (Harry being the goblin helps sum up that point)

Nothing but a hunch? Look at the direction of the show. Not once have you ever heard anyone but Tombstone & Spider-Man say he's the Big Man. And even if they say he is, it'd be like Batman Begins where the true man in charge is watching everything and not revealing his true identity. As for the Green Goblin, it was inevitable that some incarnation would make him the Green Goblin first & it was a great idea. But, that doesn't matter, because Foswell will be the Big Man. I mean, seriously, if he wasn't, he wouldn't have been introduced.
