Nu-UH!

Personally I did enjoy SM3 a great deal more the second time I saw it at home, than the first time at the theaters. while I think Raimi did an okay job given what he had to work with in such a compressed time frame with Venom, I think he could have handled the representation a little better still. I mean horror was his specialty, crazy creature effects and all that, you would think Raimi would be foaming at the mouth for a shot at bringing Venom to life.

Oh well, at least Gwen was bangin hot!

As for the villains in the show.

I think my favorite villains this season where Green Gob, and Tombstone surprisingly enough.
I loved GG's voice (his older voices from 97 TAS or SM and Amazing Friends etc were all just joker ripoffs. There's a raspyness in this versions voice that just screams GOBLIN!), and his overall appeal of craziness, deviance, and intelligence. Plus some great scenes.

"wow....... just.... wow....." lmao.

I really like Tombsee taking the place of Kingpin in this series, and man was he badass that first go around with Spidey, very impressive.

I liked Venom more or less, but something was just a little off for him IMO. Dunno if I'm still just adjusting to the beetlefaced design or if it's that he's so sinister in his intentions and got that way over the course of like 2 episodes. 😬
Something I just wasn't digging on Venom though, I think I prefer the old 97 version.

I thought they pulled off Chameleon quite well, I was actually interested in watching a Chameleon ep for a change.

And Shocker, I mean in the 97 TAS Shocker was pretty badass, but in this show he was actually a likeable character. Nice twist him being Montana.

I thought Doc Ock started iffy, but steadily became the Octavius we all remember.

Doc Ock was amazing.

I agree with almost everything you said besides the Venom part. I liked Venom. He was almost exactly like his earlier appearences in comics. The only thing I didn't like him doing was kidnapping Gwen and nearly killing her. I mean christ, shes a friend of his.

The Venom episode was pretty good. I'm glad they didn't go the usual route this time and end it with "I HAVE SONICS SO YOUR PWNED LOL!". That was old.

Jeez!😱 This thread is still alive?? It kinda went off-topic though...not surprisingly after all the replies...I'm not reading thru 50+ pages...

Anyways, let's put the Spectacular back shall we:

Thanks to the original uploaders!

If anyone manages to download these stuff...there's more...actually...
It'd be great if you can turn them into smaller file formats like FLVs or even MP4s...

I never liked Kingpin being major in tas and i really loved GG voice it was so great...Venom was also a real badass this time around...as i said before i have liked every villain in the show so far bar Sandman.

I hope we get more Sandman next season, he was boss.

I disliked his voice at first, but he eventually became one of the best villains of the season.

Doc Ock was sinister, but his voice will probably always be annoying to me. Everyone else's voices were spot on though.

I liked it, especially when he started saying, no mr. Osborn, please mr. Osborn, yes MR. OSBORN!!!!!!

Meh, it was ok.
I loved it when he started shouting at everyone when he first became Dr. Octopus. "Will you ever SHUT UP?!?!?!"

He sounded somewhat like a man then but his voice was annoying even then. I'd have to say that the best & most sinister villain voice goes to the Green Goblin.

nah the Green Goblin has a cool voice, sinister goes to the big man.

Well that's you opinion. Your horribly wrong malinformed and tasteless wrong opinion... that just happens to be wrong.

😐

J/k 😛

Meh, Venom was okay, I was just a bit aggitated with Brocks carelessness for anyone else around him. He's not really like the comic book version. That version, like the 97 TAS version was dark, and dangerous, and he would make threats but he never put innocents in danger like Venom did Gwen who wasn't only innocent but a friend. That plus the blatant attack at Peter's home.. Just left a bad taste in my mouth, plus Venom offering to work for Tombs and the beetleface. Well, I think both of those aspects stray from the original to fairly obvious degrees.

So for me Venom was.. "meh okay" at best. And I'm a huge Venom fan. Maybe my expectations were too high?

Though I agree that pulling the symbiote fake-out scen from the comics was a nice touch.

Agreed.

Tombstone isn't the Big Man, he's just a decoy...a pawn. And the dude who voices him has such a distinct and known voice that it's not really sinister at all. Steven Blum voiced the Green Goblin to perfection and almost everytime he voices a villain he changes up his voice.

Evidence please? If he's a pawn, he is one of the most bad ass pawns I have ever seen.
