I'm not even commenting on the fight or whether WW is as strong as Supes, I'm just pointing out that breaking someone's ribs doesn't necessarily put you in the same strength class as them.

Maybe I have to reread it. I remember something going crack during thier fight. By the way, if you think she isn't as strong as he is, then why did she do so well fighting him, pulling back, while they were on the surface of the sun. He got a nice instant Sun amp and when he hit her, she only blacked out for a pico second. not many people are going to even live being hit by a pissed off enraged superman while he's on the surface of the sun. I rest my case. She even put her fingers in his eyes while he was firing the Almighty heat vision. People aren't giving her enough cred. All it takes is a study of the fight.
He is right however, Nvr, Superman is above her, regardless of the Sacrifice showing. And there's too many instances the show the drastic difference between the two. She's top tier, and one of the few Earthlings that can give Supes any real trouble physically, but he's in a league of his own, and the stories make it evident.
She killed Max Lord in that Sacrifice story, because she knew she couldn't really stop Superman, only delay him. That was the entire context of that event.
I don't even think sun amp comes into play in that storyline. She had kryptonite on her, it stunts his cells from absorbing sun, and in fact, pretty much reverses it. One could easily make an arguement that he was in fact, weaker, and definately not fighting like Superman, given the mind control.
Take another story however, such as For Tomorrow, and Superman smacks her up.
Take Superman/Batman Supergirl arc, and Wonder Woman & Barda lose to henchmen in the Furies, while Superman fights Supergirl, wearing Kryptonite, then beats up Darkseid himself. All after toasting an army of Doomsday clones.
This could go on on, but it really comes down to the very idea that she's pretty much admitted it outright tons of times that she's no match for Superman.

That would be like excusing everything Superman's ever done. Mxy has been prodding Superman's destiny this way and that forever, to try to help him become the hero he needs to be.
Maybe we should throw out the 90's in case Superboy punches were affecting the outcomes, which actually a lot more plausible.
