There you go.

Out of nearly 200 post, you're the only one with the open-mindedness to answer the question with something other than threats and curses. It's like this forum is a gigantic uni-mind unable to think or even talk about issues outside what the group deems "appropriate".

Meh his post is mostly baseless psychobabble...

In those women (and men) who do develop PTSD (and not all do) after a sexual assault there are visible and measurable changes to the structure and function of the brain as a result of the trauma, as opposed to those who do not develop PTSD and/or never suffered a sexual assault.

The response Crazylozer gave is a good one. I guess he read a little differently what you ment by 'stop being weak ang get over it.'

Kudos to them. But now that your question has been answered can we move on to something else?

10th post here, I pointed out his flaw, that not all rape victims are "mentally unstable for the rest of their lives"... He ignored it, he'll probably ignore yours too.

Of course it was gibberish. In fact, it was ****ing stupid. But that's the point. I was wanting to hear other people's view on it.

I can't possibly ignore x. It's just nice to see him out of KMC's proverbial "parent's basement", the VS forum.

I see rape as something similar to a car wreck. You're helpless, in tons of pain, terrified you might die, possibly disfigured (as opposed to feeling mentally disfigured or ugly) and there's a chance it could happen again. But do car crash survivors in general have so hard a time getting over it? Not really.

But of course not everyone develops the crazies and keeps them, but they nearly all have some degree of it for a while and a lot have it forever.

Generalizations are always wrong.....wait....

...and that goes back to my second point in that post, you have no idea how you'd fare after being raped. Maybe you'd like it and it'd become a lifestyle for you, or maybe you'd be an emotional wreck, either temporarily or until your death.

Nice.
Someone asks a question you don't like so you try to call them gay. Real mature.

Want to throw in a yo mamma joke as well?

I was giving possible scenarios, I didn't say one was more likely than the other.. nice dodge and counter accusation though.

Out of a billion scenarios, implying that I'm gay was the only one you could think up? If I were you I'd rather admit to simply trying to insult me before I'd admit that gay sex was the first thing come to mind (see I can do it too 🙂 ).
It was neither dodge nor counter, it was a calling out of a trait held by the majority of these and other message boards.

"I do not agree, therefore you're wrong."

no its more like "you're an idiot, so it doesnt matter what generalisation or false dilemma you dig up as proof"

A "billion", now that is downright silly, and I did not imply you were gay, being gay means you are sexually and emotionally attracted to the same sex, were did I say that? Also, what's wrong with being gay, not that I said you were? <--- two more questions you'll dodge.

It was a dodge and a counter accusation, as you have yet to answer the question of "how do you know, you, as a man wouldn't be the same way after a rape?" and you're still accussing me. Nice.

Now you've lowered yourself to picking apart a figure of speech. Even better.
[b]Maybe you'd like it and it'd become a lifestyle for you.
Hmm...
Of course you'll play dumb and say you meant nothing....then you'll probably go on to attack me for a random grammar error.

Also, what's wrong with being gay, not that I said you were?
You implied it. Nothing wrong with it. I don't use being gay as a means to attack someone.

It was a dodge and a counter accusation, as you have yet to answer the question of "how do you know, you, as a man wouldn't be the same way after a rape?" and you're still accusing me. Nice.

It's faulty logic to believe you must be something to know about it.

I'm not a potato, but I'm pretty sure I can guess with a high level of accuracy what it's like to be buried under ground.

Has a certain group of people been accused of group think so many times they've actually took time out of their lives and made/found a picture as the only source to defend themselves with? That's pretty bad. Poking fun at your problems only keeps you from facing them for a short while.

man, it's time for ur daily tampon long pig.

People need to stop taking this thread off topic.

I can not be the only one who wonders why rape is such a big deal to women.

of course u wonder that. it's natural for people who haven't experienced something to ask stupid questions.

Pigs married to a rape victim?

Ha,what a whore,probably led him on.

lol so wrong in so many ways 😕

shhh,trying to get him mad,so he will have a cry,therefore i will prove a point.....kinda....

Every person is different in how they can deal with it mentally. Some are stronger than others. It's your reference point on yourself. Some people have no problem getting over tough issues, others can't.

It reminds me of a man who needed a surgery but was scared to death because his mother, father, and sister all died from doctors mistakes during their surgeries when he was young. He never got over it to help himself.

People experience many horrific things and get on with life. But many can't.
