Fail.I won't hold it against you though.
Why didn't you just say, 'I know you are but what am I?" I would have been more believable.
you missed the joke, and so i dont think it is i who fail.
but anyway, playing apologist for a troll thread is very fail-worthy,
though i wont drop the f-bomb on you since i havent seen enough of
you to know whether or not you're full of it.
anyway, its impossible to prove as your request implies, though i could post an opinion poll if its that important to you
"fail" who the hell are you? 🙄

Schecter,You have a different version of "get over it" than most if not all people. When I get over something, it no longer "consumes me". I have gotten over many things and they still affect my life. In fact, after I have gotten over some things, they actually made me a better person...despite the fact that sometimes, I think about those things.
Yes, it is possible for a rape victim to "get over it", but not the way you are defining the cliché.
Someone here has a problem with the words "get over it", when I've meant it as "move on."

Are you talking about that long ass argument about someone not putting pictures up of his roommates and their rooms to "prove" he isn't racist against other Latinos?
but anyway, playing apologist for a troll thread is very fail-worthy, .
Agreed, this thread failed before it was created.

I was serious in a light hearted way...I was wanting to eat my words about how you were using "get over it" and I was trying to "call you out" and make you make me look like I was wrong so that other's would understand your position because it seemed that was what was happening at the time. Technically, it was for your benefit.
If you want to see more of me, go to the picture thread.

Not its not impossible. If you take a position you have to defend it.

nonesense. you cannot prove general opinion without....taking down general opinion. your implication is that i can prove myself right by blowing enough hot air. well, im busy at the moment so maybe ill try another time.

Wrong. Now if I were you, I would leave it at that.
Since I am not...
The problem is not general consensus on a cliché, the issue brought to your attention is that you are using the cliché in a different context as those posting around you. Explaining the contextual use of clichés can sometimes be nebulous but in this instance, it is not. You should better explain yourself if you are going to "argue" with people. (you know why its in quotes.) Besides, I started this whole conversation so that in the end, you could better defend your position but you instead, you are arguing with me about it.
Again...
😆 😆 FAIL!!! 😆 😆 😆

its easy to tell who knows what they're talking about and who's blowing hot air in here."get over it". what a completely idiotic cliche to try to pass off as advice.
as if being raped is some superficial inconvenience which doesnt have unavoidable life-long ramifications. bunch of idiotic tools flapping your lips and smelling the sweet aroma of your own horseshit. "blah blah blah *fart* "
I was gonna write this long post, but then I read all your posts and it pretty much said all I wanted to say. So I am re-quoting you.

those crutch smilies...they are very eye catching. in fact they caught my eye first...which is good. why is it good? i have found over my stay at the interwebs that when a post is punctuated with a flood of smilies and "FAIL!!!" its likely not worth reading. so i didnt read it. vin
