JMS's run ends in 2 issues so this seems like an editors attempt to make things easier for fraction who it looks like will be taking over the series.

the editors always return things back to normal after a writer makes a major change

Um... I've lost interest. It's going back to the same ole same ole and I'm not to interested in a helpless Thor. Odin should be returning soon enough.

Please keep in mind that I am still satisfied with the way the book is being written. JMS is doing a hell of a job. It's much more his decisions that I am not happy with.

Fraction? Seeing how he wrote the "Secret Invasion: Thor", I'm worried. Good story, but the way Thor was written in terms of power? Meh....

Story wise? JMS is excellent. Thor's book is one of the best ones out there right now. It's just the way he chooses to go about some things. A little more ass kicking, less talking, and Thor showing what it means to be a true God, and I would be in heaven.

In my opinion, "Stormbreaker: The Saga of Beta Ray Bill", has been the best thing out in the "Thorverse" action wise in some time. If only, Thor would do that much ass kicking, but he has to be planet side, so he can't unleash his power. Him destroying the planet, wouldn't be any good.

'Secret Invasion: Thor' was good and also all of them one-shots Fraction did were great

-Ages Of Thunder
-Reign Of Blood
-Man Of War
-Thor God-Sized

Alan Davis would also be good he did a good job on that Thor: Truth of History.

Suck thats JMS is leaving for DC.

I guess I maybe drop Thor in the fall.

Like I said, in terms of story telling, his actually very good. I enjoyed all those one-shots. I wouldn't mind him writing Thor, but I'm worried how he will handle Thor in terms of power. The way he writes him in fights, is just a bit.....meh for lack of a better word.......

srug

I'll guess will see soon enough though.....

Maybe after Blackest Night, Johns should come over to Thor and they can get JMS.

Should wait until Fraction starts writing the comic and if he fails......well then drop it.

Mark Millar is going to be taking over Thor.

Should be good.

Ummm..... Fraction or Millar...I maybe have to say on. But it depends on whos the artist is still.

Seems like there won't be more odin-force Thor in the Versus forums.

Where's that rumour coming from?

Millar or Fraction would be the top two choices. Let's just get the book out on bloody time, already.

Meh, I dunno who I'd prefer, Fraction or Millar, they're both good choices though, which is cool.

The last thing we need is a book this good going down the drain in terms of quality with a bad new writer (coughloebcough)

👇👇👇 If FF is anything to go by.

What I did notice was in the last issue its stated that Thor only has a portion of the odin power which would explain why he couldn't just reconstitute the hammer. What I also am hoping happens (though not likely) is for thor to come into his own as a skyfather. Bor never had someone elses power and neither did odin, why must thor only tap into odins power to become skyfather. It would be great if he naturally progressed to that stage.
