What I did notice was in the last issue its stated that Thor only has a portion of the odin power which would explain why he couldn't just reconstitute the hammer. What I also am hoping happens (though not likely) is for thor to come into his own as a skyfather. Bor never had someone elses power and neither did odin, why must thor only tap into odins power to become skyfather. It would be great if he naturally progressed to that stage.

Did Odin inherit any power when he succeeded Bor?
Because when his two brothers died in the first confrontation with Surtur, Odin inherited their power.

👇👇👇 If FF is anything to go by.

I do agree that his FF sucks ass.

Another writer who might be good for Thor is Mike Carey...

I mean, Lucifer was an incredibly good book, and X-men Legacy hasn't really disappointed so far...

Maybe if DC were writing Thor we may actually see him use some power?

Millar's recent stuff hasn't been that great (FF)...but Fraction? Gah, his X-Men makes me want to vomit. Seriously. I don't think that could would know how to pen a suicide note, let alone a decent comic.

Does anyone here get that Thor: Tales of Asgard comic ?

Yup, I did.

What do you think of them adding to Kirby's art such as more detail ?

That would take him away from the hero community, how could a Skyfather be in the Avengers? Bad bad bad.

Thor hasn't been an active part of the avengers since like 2001...

Avengers is just an example of the hero community, who's to say he wont join the Avengers in the next 5 years or so?

How is that of any relevance when you're complaining about a skyfather joining the avengers??

Thor doesn't have the Odinforce anymore, and when he does his responsibilities with that far exceeds anything the avengers could come up with...

Which is why I said being a Skyfather takes him away from the hero community.

So when did Loki revert back to his original form???

Which he isn't anymore...

And the obvious answer would be "Thor does not need to" seeing as all his decent storylines and appearances usually take place OUTSIDE his avengers appearances.

Any word as to who is taking over the book.

He's out of place with them anyway

he works way better by himself

I have the original issues so I can't complain that they've tampered with the classics. It's a nice addition to my collection.

So Thor #603 has been delayed

JMS better not be doing another movie script.

JMS is supposed to be leaving, isn't he? Or he is he being removed, do to his slow output? Maybe he's kicking up a storm at Marvel demanding to finish what he started - then again, Squadron Supreme died a quick death didn't it?
