Becoming intangible? He's already done that. Learned that trick from the Flash.

And many of the other 'options' you give him seem very speculative, if he's never actually performed them on panel.

Yeah.

I have a feeling those two are going to get along.

I found both the Superman Prime issue aswell as the GLC issue with Sodam Yat becoming Ion to be dissapointing.

I really wish Yat was written to be a little... I dunno, less of an unappealing character? I mean, if he's supposed to go on to be the greatest green lantern that EVER LIVED, I'd kind of like him to be someone I enjoy reading.

at least until, three years from now, we get a storyline where the earth based green lanterns need to stop him after he goes crazy.
