what I noticed from that book was how effortlessly Blue Beetle took down Impulse- super fast, older Impulse.
and the same month he proved he was more useful than a green lantern.
Blue Beetle is shaping up to be the most powerful character, ever.
you know... after the huge battle against Black Adam and the first time they all tried to fight Superboy Prime, you'd think the members of the DC universe would be smart enough to like... not just run up to try to fight SBP one or two at a time... I mean people like Batman and Alan Scott are right there- how about before you all go rushing out dramatically, you stop and give some directives... I mean, nothing all that fancy, just like :
ike, hey Red Sun dude, you and Firestorm, hang back and shoot him with that red sun radiation.... Alan Scott, you fly up in the air and shoot him from above... Martian Manhunter, you hang back and f*ck with his mind, keep him off balance... Flashes, you guys and Aquaman and any other guys whose only power is punching real hard, you all try to bury him. And for the love of GOD if your power is to shoot yellow solar energy, do not do anything. Just go away.

But, do you have any idea how hard that would be? It's not like there was anyone there that could POSSIBLY link Batman's thoughts to everyone else's mind.
Nope.
No character's ever done ANYTHING like that before.
And, I mean, it's not like they had any time to make such strategic plans. Batman isn't THAT smart...
