I f anything I can see SMP killing blue lanterns and stealing their rings

All the signs seem different and the blue background and little sign of a blue ring looks like he might join the blue corps.

It has the Sinestro Corps symbol on it 😐

Good point. 😛

There's some stuff in there about hope though.

Pfft I don't reconise what symbol is what.

I made the same mistake. They look pretty similar.

Actually, Blue Lantern symbol is the Sinestro corps. sybol turned upside down

Not it's not.

They are similar but direction of the seraphs is different for one.

Also, the RedLantern symbol is retarded 😬

I'm thinking blackest night = Every Lantern on the left of the Greens (On the colour spectrum above) vs everyone on the right bar black lanterns. Greens are obviously trying to keep order and balance in this fight until the black lanterns show up and fight the greens ✅

I predict that one of those resurrected will be Hal's dad, Johns references his daddykins far to much for it not to come up ✅

Kyle Vs all of his dead girlfriends ftw.

A couple things....

1.) Can someone explain Alpha Lanterns to me?

2.) Can someone explain this stupidity to me?:

"Warning. Willpower exceeding power ring capabilities." WTF? 🤨

1.The alpha lanterns are basically a group of GL's with lanterns inside of them that are the Internal Affairs of the GL corps. They investigate into the killings by the Green Lantern ring. and they probably are the enforcers.
2.Maybe it means is what he's trying to do is more than what the Ring can do. I mean i remember that when Hal tried to bring back Coast City with all of its inhabitants the ring couldn't actually do that. So maybe not his will but what he's actually trying to accomplish with his will and ring.

I'm currently of the belief that Green Lanterns in general are suffering/have suffered a de facto power-down. This is supported by the ring's capabilities being limited by more than willpower alone, and also by the fact that the 'secret files and origins' biographical entry for the power ring no longer says that it can accomplish anything the wielder imagines, but only that it can make any construct it's wielder imagines.

Quite a significant difference, in my most humble of opinions.

Hal's limitation had nothing to do with his willpower being > a power ring though.

Hal's one ring simply did not contain enough energy to do what he wanted to do with it. The ring tried to accomplish said task, but it just didn't have the energy output.

[which is why Hal went on his killing spree, and eventually absorbed the CB].

I agree,
It just keeps getting more and more ridiculous where GL rings are concerned..... imo.

On a sidenote,
I wonder if John will end up leaving the GLC, and try to find a more powerful corps, due to this limitation? Kind of has a Hal-esque feel to it, imo.

I was waiting for a guardian to show up and reprimand john for whatever stunt he was trying to do......and i thought of hal also when he tried to remake coast city...i think you might be on to somthing with the new spectrum of corps showing up soon...i can see john going to a new team...but it did feel weird to see him right after helping with coast city

That's hardly a powerdown. It's more like "hey guys why don't we change the bio to match what we make them do most of the time?"
