Is no longer the case, [as far as power rings are concerned].
Comparing this to the Dr. Strange situation, who got such a power down that he can't even teleport, is a little off base.
However, I still think you guys are over analysing it. Right now it's just one feat that contradicts every other GL feat ever. That and a bio but since when have we ever cared about bios?

Maybe but if the power ring is exhausted by attempting to create a solar system, that's not much of a power down. You're still talking about an elite power here.Comparing this to the Dr. Strange situation, who got such a power down that he can't even teleport, is a little off base.

I just had never heard of a ring bearer's willpower being > what the ring itself can handle..
It makes no sense to me. srug

He wasn't creating a solar system - just some really huge constructs. There's a mite of difference between the two.

It's not like there a tons of times where GLs have made actual planets using the ring.
But there are plenty of times they've made actual objects/matter with the ring. All I was pointing out is that there is a difference between making a planet, and a green, oan, construct of a planet. A difference between making a sword, and a green, oan construct of one.

Meh. The functional difference is minimal and writers hardly listen to handbooks anyway.
