World War Hulk's issues outsold Final Crisis. I'm not a Hulk hater... but that's just not right. Seriously.Hulk: "Hulk smash puny Final Crisis!" durhulk

Y'know how sometimes the punishment is associated with the crime? I think it would be ironic if Dr Light is raped to death by the corpse of Sue Dibny....
Nah, he's apparently gonna be melt alive by the super duper Spectre's Deus Ex Machina powah. See?

YAY, another B-lister bites the dust during a Crisis for whatever the reasons, how original. It's like Punisher War Journal all over again, since if you're an A-list villain there is no way in hell the Spectre will get ya, no matter how many people you've killed. Wake me up when the Spectre unleashes the Wrath of God or whatever on Libra or Superboy Prime or Black Adam or Joker or Darkseid, will ya?

He's easily above B-list. The man raped SueDibny, nearly killed the entire TeenTitans and he's been a foe for the entire JLA more than once.
Yeah, but nothing of the above has to do with being in the A-list. He's one of those ridiculously powerful, underused villains, ala Electro or Graviton.
Being A/B/C/D list only depends on the importance given to any character by the publisher, nothing else. And unfortunately he's not a major player, is he?

That's a direct throwback to classic Spectre. He used to do things like turn people into candles and light them on fire. This, is a new and excellent rendition of one of his oldest methods.
Good observation Trick's...maybe is a hint that The Spectre might return to Corrigan's style. 😉
oh.. i was hoping that Dr.Light would be built up to his potential first. after recovering his rapist wit, he had a few nice showing but i wanted more from him. he is a villian you can really hate and as im sure people think he deserves it, i wanted him to really really REALLY deserve it by the time they got around to killing him/give him what he deserves.. maybe put a few more woman under his belt. kill someone of importance. actually win a bit more. he kinda fell back into a losers slump being a a$$hole lacky/failure instead of a dumb lacky/failure. and now he dies?
eh. am i alone in thinking this?

He sparked IdentityCrisis which lead to Batman being mindwiped which lead to the OMACs. He frequently is part of villain teams and after getting is intelligence back people regard his as a legitimate villain again. Lacking constant appearances doesn't drop him to B-list. Maybe B+ list 😛

See how many do know him. I doubt you would get more than 10 if you are lucky enough to run into a few Comic nerds.
He's B-list, maybe even C-list 😛
Yeah, a friend of mine recently told me she loved a "really obscure" comic character that not too many have heard about. Who, you might ask? Green Lantern.
"Well-known" and terms like "A, B, C-list" take on entirely new meanings when we subject comics to society's knowledge of them. Only the recent movie craze has made people aware of more than the top 2-3 of the 2 major companies.

I wish it could stay like that...once a comic book character hits the mainstream things don't always go to well. It's funny how people know who Shazam is but don't know his name is Captain Marvel. 😂
Actually I'm a huge comic fan and have been for almost 11 years now, yet only recently did I know that Captain Marvel was Shazam.
I always referred to him as Captain Marvel. Granted I'm more of a Marvel than DC fan, but if a comic fan didn't know then the general public are clueless......
