The Si series has a serious pacing problem. It not giving off the "EPIC battle story" that its trying to hype itself up to be. Stories like the sinestro corps war show how you can pace huge battles over several issue and not become stale. Hell, the last action comics annual depicted a better grand battle between the escapes from the phantom zone.
Is it just me or are they not correctly coordinating the time line of events within the main book and the tie-ins? Also, what day has it been into the Invasion? I heard it was day one, but it feels longer to me some how.

I feel the same way. Sinestro Corps had indentifiable lead characters (Sinestro, Cyberborg, Superboy, Parallax, and AM) and canon fodders.
SI has Super Skrull, Kly'bn, and Sl'ggrt. Kly'bn and Sl'ggrt are dead and Super Skrull might not even be on the Invasion's side. SI's left with canon fodder super skrulls and other no named skrulls. If Annihilation had just a bunch of no named bugs running about, it would suck as much as SI does. They need to have lead villains to counter the 616 heroes like Reed, Iron Man, Thor, etc.

That is true, but for some reason that seems to be a major problem in Marvel Events. HoM, Civil War, WWH, SI the fight scenes just seem like a free for all with not much thought.
I wonder why Black Panther (or Storm for that matter) decided they didn't want to bother the world with the fact that... you know... Skrulls had invaded and very subtlety infiltrated organizations to further their agenda of world domination. Seems like it would have been a handy bit of information for everyone to know... especially with Black Panther's magic soul vision that tells him who is a skrull or not. Seems like something the X-Men / Avengers / Fantastic Four might have been interested to know.
Black Panther is a dick.
