It was closed before though.

Keep that in mind.

Because of idiocy, not because of chatting.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

If I suggested a roleplay for the Hosted area, would anyone be interested in joining? Here's my idea:

It's a mystery roleplay about a group of sea-bound survivors from whatever disaster (This is just a rough idea), who hit shore of a chain of isles in the middle of nowhere soon to be known as the "Isles of Mystery".

These isles will be the root of mythology and mystery. There'll be mythological creatures and locations, puzzles, adventures and mysticism and as the group is forced further inwards for various reasons, the quest for survival might soon be much, much more than that.

It's still just an idea in my head, and it'll evolve from this little text if only I learn if there might be people interested.

My current thought is that you are only normal humans (Might change), and that you CAN and very much MIGHT die if you screw up and do something that might not be a good idea (Like trying to fight a Minotaur hand-to-hand, or take the gold bar from the scale)

This would become a roleplay where mistakes can kill one, or the entire group. There will of course be rules, such as if an obvious intentional "wipe" of the group to screw with the rest would result in punishment of the individual member and an ignore of the post or the involvement of "divine luck".

I will also enforce a rule where you're expected to follow the personality and background of your character, limited to what you're capable of (Meaning a person without any training wouldn't have perfect aim with a weapon)

It seems like this is the wrong thread to post that

But that does sound like a good idea.

If it's not the wrong thread, then my apologies I'm still learning ^^;

There aren't a better thread for this, unfortunately. I don't want to spend a lot of time on an idea if it turns out no one is interested, otherwise I would post a complete idea in the assigned Hosted area thread 😄

So this is as close to right thread as can be 🙂

So, would I be able to count on you? Suggestions and questions are most welcome ✅

Would also like to add that I intend to have narration between chapters in the adventure. After one part of the exploration of these isles is complete, I'd make a "narration" post impersonating a generic survivor, or witness. This will include all the significant things the group did as a group, who died (If anyone did), who did extra well and things of partial significance, like acts of heroism.

The narration post will serve as a minor "time skip", as the ending of one chapter and the introduction of the next. Everything that this narration post is, will be based on what each and all participants did.

A recap, some would call it. Others might consider it a speech of praise. It will be written as if told, or written by someone who witnessed or was part of it. As if a page in a book.

Sure, why not =\ I wouldn't mind being a real human in an RP either, it would be a change in pace. From being a Spartan, being a Super Hero, being a Half Girl/Half Ant/Half Tiger (150%?) XD

I was given the same suggestion from another. I've made the choice that you will be a normal human, under normal human conditions (Not Batman conditions)

Well you should still have certain abilities. I'm not saying "Super" but like you can be the fastest or the strongest or something. You know, human natural talents. Other wise I don't know, because I know that I'm pretty fast.

I'll think about it.

Of course 🙂 A diver will have good lungs, while a marathon runner or some sort of sport participant will have good stamina. Some are faster, others stronger. Like in real life, different people have different talents.

What's keeping you from deciding? Unanswered curiosity, or something else involving the structure and plot of the roleplay? 🙂

Making a small note that I'm interested because I am.

Yay!

I'm a bit curious, how many RP's can you host at one time? Like...

If my Halo RP is accepted, can I create another RP and manage it at the same time?

I was wondering because I had an idea for another one.

Unlimited, as long as it doesn't impair you.

XD impair me? The only thing that could impair me is... [View Signature]

Rough Game Idea (Not NEARLY Ready to Submit)

Same as A'nilia, I want to post a small idea.

Phantasy Star RP
(My introduction for it is still in the uh... "Pre-Write" stage. So I can only give basic information).

An RP where characters have to choose between four races.

Human: The creators of all things. They are the adept of the universe, being able to do everything but never best at anything.
Newman: An Elf-Like being. They are the primary being on the planet "Neudaiz". They are the best at Magic.
Beast: The most powerful of the four races when it comes to strength. They use raw muscle to devastate all. They roam the planet of "Moatoob".
CAST: Android like beings, relying on Logistics. They are range type users prevailing over all with gun-like weapons. They believe high in "CAST Supremacy" and are the major race on the planet "Parum".

The story is basically about the Unification Point.
(anyone who knows about the game would know what this is, for those who don't, its a time where the 3 planets are exactly the same distance away from each other.)

During this point in the story, the 3 planets (Parum, Moatoob, and Neudaiz) all are being prepared for the Unification Point to eliminate all SEED in the galaxy. They have to protect the planets while still eliminating other SEED until the Unification Point (which would make a select date).

In the RP they would defend, go on missions, negotiate, and there would be things such as "Race Wars" where two of the four races form a conflict which of course must be settled (Keep in mind these are the 4 races in the game, not like white/black/asian/etc.)

Anyways, there's more to it but I want to see if anyone at all would be interested in this.

I may do it. If I do then I'd be a Beast either Power or Defense type.

I suppose I'll give it like a week or two. If nobody is interested in it by then, I can only assume they won't be and I won't do anything. If at least 3 people say something about it (1/3 so far) then I'll post the full idea in the Idea Thread for approval.
