It's a parasitic monster. That's been known for ages. J.J. was even gonna call it "Parasite" from what i heard.

Don't forget it is a parasite. A huge one at that. Stopping it from wide-speading early is the best option, even if it means sacrificing some innocents as unfortunate as it may be.

And i could've sworn i heard buzzing types of noises during the trailer. Almost mosquito-like just loud as hell. Looks like just another faster way to spread the parasite. By having huge infected flying bugs spread it out to more and more people.

Sending the thing into oblivion at the expense of turning part of nyc into a parking lot is well worth it.

Honestly, where do you get this info, it seems rather precise for such a "hush-hush" movie? You seem to not only know what "it" is exactly, but how the movie will play out.

Are you just reading a bunch of blogs of peoples mixed ideas and speculations, and then mix-n'-matching to your liking?

And are just not reading?

How do you get my apparent presentation of "precise Colverfield information" with how i think the monster should be taken out as my quote that your're quoting me, indicates?

And No. I haven't read anyones blog on "Cloverfield" and mixed n' matched 'em with my ideas. How unintelligent is that. I go by what I see and by what J.J. says.

But i did hear buzzing-types of noises that sounded mosquito-like towards the end of the trailer when i saw it before the imax Beowulf showing. There's no doubt that that's what i heard. I never said what the source of the noise but it sounded insect-like.

Are you reading? Because I didn't quote you... you have repeatedly posted lines indication how the movie will go, so that is what I am questioning, how you know such precise details. Unless, you're just speaking of how you'd like the movie to go?

Go by what you see? There isn't much to be seen and J.J. really hasn't said that much, that's the allure of this picture, the "mystery"; he's depending on that to draw in the crowds.

It's going to be funny when this movie comes out an it ends up being just a giant moth. hysterical

I'm betting it's a piss-poor movie and JJ is relying of the "mystery" he's created to make it sell.

I read a rumor that he had almost no budget for this in the beginning and used the initial trailer to spawn interest, so the studios would be willing to dump more cash into it.

Sounds like a recipe for butt soup. JJ had me with the first season of LOST, then the second season 'lost' me because the show proved to be a one trick pony. Now, and this isn't saying much, I think JJ's best achievement was Alias.

Um, yes you did quote me. And answered my post rather irrelevantly.

And there's alot to see. 2nd trailer's come out for you. Besides J.J.'s constant revelations.

And he's depending on mystery to draw crowds? Doesn't every movie do that with it's trailers? You're little late on that one. By a bit more than a half century.

Well, your were dead wrong on the movie being most looked at through the perspective of a cell phone's video or w/e the hell you said. Good, I guess. I wouldn't want it to be that way. That view would suck dcik.

But it'll be a great movie.

I saw the second trailer tonight when I saw Beowulf. Looks pretty damn sweet.

You'd never admit it if you thought the movie sucked. You've pumped too much belief into it already.

That's why the only reasonable thing to do is say "Yes, I think the trailer/trailers is/are awesome, it has definitely snared my interest.", not "This movie will be awesome! I know this because I'm really awaiting it.", which is silly.

Also, you're being kinda ridiculous by suggesting that what Rob meant was "all movies" draw their fans from mystery. This one has been specifically geared toward that, for the longest time we had one trailer of nothing, then we had another trailer with not much more.

Besides, attempting to look visionary by saying "It's a parasite, I bet they'll have to wipe out blah to stop blah spreading to blah blah." is hardly worthwhile, since that's what all parasite/infection movies revolve around.

Also, there's not a LOT to see, is there? Two trailers of tease and a few posters, bits of generic press conference transcripts that reveal nothing and a Slusho website that might as well be in flat braille.

Here's a slow motion video of the monster from the trailer.

[link]

It appears to be the side of a reptilian-like creature and its hind leg.

Also here is some possibly legit concept art for the monster.

[link2]

What appears to be a hind leg in the trailer could be one of its fins if its like the concept art.

The concept art looks good.

Maybe in the end the monster is made into sushi and world hunger is no longer a problem

Na. If the movie sucked, i'd say so. Why would i lie? To go with popular belief or just to be popular. Fcuk that. I'd rather offer my opinion and be fiercely hated and unaccepted anywhere than to lie and be really liked and accepted.

And there's a ton too see. So far there've been official update conferences, notes from J.J., interviews. (mag and online) and more.

To compare the info that's out now to flat braille is an ignorant way of seeing it, no pun intended. There more on this movie out there than you think despite J.J. attempts.

That's beside the second trailer itself revealing like half of the monster already.

If it's an aquatic monster then where did the atomic-like fire burst come from?

😂

So, because it could be an aquatic monster, means the producer and people who made the movie can't have it do what they want?

I didn't say that. Just wondered where the fireball came from cause if it did indeed come from an aquatic monster, if that's what it truly even is, then it wouldn't neither make sense nor look right.

The producers can do what they want but I'd be contradicting. A fire breathing water monster? C'mon.

How else is it suppose to fight the Water Spitting Lava Monster?
