M<y ****ign store isn't getting shipments till tomorrow. I'm so irked.
So am I the only one who thinks that Izaya is somehow behind this?
* He exists within the source, so potentially could be doing the effects with his avatar.
* One of the best people at manipulating the source (since Takion was seemingly cut off from communicating with the source, or it went silent).
* Has a reason to build a second Source Wall.
* Deaths caused have been humane (no torture, etc., just a simple tearing away of their god-essence.)
* Darkseid knows who it is, and seemed familiar with him.
* Friend of the New Gods, since it was mentioned "why did he betray us". Eliminates Ares and other enemies.
* When showing who the character was (only showed feet & shoulders), his feet had 3 rings going from ankle to mid-calf (characteristic of Izaya's costume).

Exactly, which is what made me think of what allies the New Gods have that can:
* Manipulate the source.
* Have enough power to instantly snatch the lifeforce from a New God.
* Have intimate knowledge of all of the New Gods and where to find them.
* Have three rings on their boots. 😄
* Not want to defeat them in a way that is humiliating, more doing it because it's something they see as a necessity; e.g. the original Source Wall breaking apart.
