didn't Metron say that he believed the power to do what he/she's doing, in killing New Gods and stealing their souls was beyond him? So I wouldn't be surprised if it's someone much weaker than we're thinking of, who has got a massive power-up. So I doubt it's Infinity Man.

it does look strange that right after dude left takion to his own devices he got his shit blown...on an unrelated note. i always wondered that since all the beings from the 4th world were hyper evoloved into godhood becuz of thier close proximity to the source. how come there are slaves on apokolops that can just die all willy nilly and thrown into the fire pit? shouldnt those mofos be new gods too?
