Pretty sure that was Infinity Man`s hand in the latest Countdown issue.

where does Infinity Man fit into all this?

What's funny is until just recently I wasn't entirely convinced that DotNG, and Countdown, were linked -- [ie. I thought they might be taking place in different time-frames]...

The current issue of DotNG certainly threw that out the window.

With the ForeverPeople dead . . . he doesn't.

Anyone have an idea where Jimmy will fit into all of this?

what happened to Infinity Man? Have they explained?

I assume that when the 5th world forms he'll suddenly be depowered. srug

Nope nothing yet, so Darkseid's brother might still be kicking around.

My guess is most of the 'lesser knowns' won't be mentioned again.

It won't because he's lesser known..
But the forever people are dead, so the chance of seeing the Infinity Man is slim to none.

I still think Infinity Man is going to make some sort of apperance, and maybe he even might be saved from the God Killer being in a different dimension

It's possible, They did just do a New God arc with Infinity Man in Superman Classified.

Yep, and before that when was the last time Infinity Man made an apperance? I really don't see this being the last of him.

Panic In The Sky

With Starlin writing it, I'd say that the odds of the Infinity-Man being involved approach one-in-one.

Since we know the killer to be shape-shifting sometimes as well, that may not actually be

either.

That's true I completly forgot about that, he even took the form of Serifan in #1

From the way he was talking it almost seemed like the killer might be

Spoiler:
the dark side of the source

Just read death of the new gods 6. The killer is completely and utterly lame. I do have newfound respect for Orion and the way in which he went out. I wish they would have showed us the battle though.

Im still sore that Starin didnt have Orion kill Darkseid.

The blinding flash of light was the battle -- so we pretty much saw the whole thing. ermm
