It's not that IM didn't want to hurt Supes -- it's that his goal was to confront Scott, that was his main priority. IM couldn't risk being beaten and not accomplishing this task.

And Superman's 'Source protection' is a myth.... He's just that damn powerful.

Anyone else see Orion's helmet glowing when Supes is flying back to Apokalips? It's probably symbolizes something, but I don't know what. Maybe he's alive after the Source Wall was destroyed?

When the Source Wall was destroyed why didn't the Bleed seep into the DCU?

Also yeah I saw Orion's helmet glow as well.

The Source and the ALE were altering reality on a grand scale. Maybe it never got the chance or maybe the wall isn't needed to keep it out anymore.

Or, most likely, Starlin forgot to be a stickler for DC continuity. But I don't mind either way...continuity isn't as important to me as story, so long as our credulity isn't stretched too far.
