I've read Swamp Thing and Lucifer, both depictions of God while completely superior to Starlin's still doesn't amount to the absolute omnipotence and omniscience that a true God should show. Duality in divinity -such as an absolute evil and an absolute good, shown often as very partial- is a relatively poor depiction of God. Its also cannon to the DC universe.

But you are about the one shown in the Specter is actually quite good, so I must at least partially retire my argument.

ok, I misinterpreted your arguement. But the concept of an absolute almighty perfect god is just one interpretation, and not necessarily the end-all and be-all of gods.

Basically, we're just bashing Starlin for not being original. 😛

I expect Morrison and Johns to completely one-up him in FC. evillaugh

Aurakles was enhanced by the New Gods in super-pre-history. Like, as in "millions of years before our Neanderthal ancestors." There was two whole human civilizations that evolved, developed, and grew over the course of millenia in between the start of our branch of humanity and Aurakles.
