But still, they're in a friggin videogame. It just doesn't make sense. With them in videogames technically makes them videogame characters. Can we at least put only one character from a videogame based on a movie in here and nobody else? At least let us add one. Maybe Wolverine.

It'd be dead.Although I'm all for banning Kain. 🙂

Agreed.Lets get some more obscure and "low level" power characters into some matches, it is becoming quite dull to see the same characters used over and over, especially ones that have a real high power stance. (most being on the verge of god-hood and the like.)

Sad, but you're probably right.Indeed. Problem is, even when I do make versus topics involving 'lower level' characters, they don't last long (if at all), and the only ones to get any attention at the end of the day are the ones with Master Chief, Kain, Kratos, etc. in the thread title.
It's a really sad problem.

No. Just because they're in a video game, it does not make them a video game character. Originating in a video game is what does.

No. It's not a video game.

From what I can tell with that post, you aren't into videogames that much are you? If you did have a major liking to games, you wouldn't be putting up a rule such as that. Honestly did you come up with this rule or did someone else?
Let me guess this straight, you can allow characters like Iron Man and the Hulk in movie versus forums as long as they were in movies (even though these guys first appeared in comic books), but we can't add characters from games based on movies in the games versus forum? I'm sorry but you're not making sense here. This is all too confusing. I'm not trying to piss you off or anything but seriously, what the heck?
Oh please. I've been playing games longer than you've been alive...
And every Vs forum on KMC has that rule. It makes plenty of sense. If you want to use a character in a Vs forum here, it needs to originate in that specific media. Period. It's really not at all a difficult rule at all. And it's been in place for a very long time and I can count on one hand the number of people who've not liked it since it was enacted.

Wrong.
Agreed. They have so many characters in the movie versus forum that aren't originated from the movies but comics, videogames, and anime.
Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, Optimus Prime, Abomination, The Fantastic Four, Hellboy, Goku, Wolverine. May I go on?

I admitted that I had forgotten about that.
And as I said, it still doesn't matter - I am not getting rid of that rule here. Go bring your VG-based movie characters over there if you want to use them so badly. They aren't allowed here.
