I did a juggle with Tira today that took off at least around 70-80% of my friends health in a normal match. 😐
I must figure out how I did that.
And, on an unrelated note, getting the 8-way run down is soooooooooooo helpful against Sigfried/Nightmare players. The ones I tend to play against like to spam vertical attacks, and sidestepping just makes things too easy.
Vertical attacks are stupid with Siegfried/Nightmare, they take too long to do and are easily avoidable. The forward-forward-horizontal (I dont know the lingo for fighting games >.<😉 attack just smacks everyone away and is much faster, I played the Descending tower and pretty much killed people in 2 hits, first hit was the horizontal strike to knock them down, then while they are down do the forward-forward vertical attack. Dead. Not to mention the horizontal attack is awesome for ring outs 😈
And speaking of Tira, she's probably my least favourite character in SC4, I just can't get hold of her moveset disgust She's good to play against, but her attacks are awkward for me. srug

Performing critical finishing moves are so hard. I can hardly perform even one. Now I'm thinking I wasted $60.
Practise in training mode, set your soul gauge high, the CPU's to none, set their attack as recorded and just record the block move for a while. Play it back and practise.

allow me to explain how to do one..
repeatedly hit a certain level of their body until their bar is flashing
be it HIGH , LOW, or MID
as you continue to hit that specific area during flashing, you have to be prepared for the instant the soul crush happens (which can only occur during a guard, as far as I know), which is a shatter sound followed by a red effect, and your enemy will undergo a stun animation... thats exactly the time you press all 4 buttons (on the 360 its shortcutted to the left bumper), and if you were fast enough you will perform the critical finisher
