Floors 45/46 are a b*tch. Just like that cheating chick on fl.45 is. Why would a developer make fights that ridiculously hard. It's not even fun anymore. It's frustrating. And i heard the rest of the floors are worse.
I can't even let go of the block button without getting hit before i try to quickly press the attack button. You can't ring her out or grapple/throw her yet she could, and always, does it to you. Her energy goes down by hair-thin slices and she's as fast as lightning.
Yoda seems to be her best challenge. I must've faought with her like 50 times already and stll nothing. But I'm not gonna give up until i defeat her and the tower of souls so i've started trying to max out my characters that i use, even more. I mainly/mostly use level9 Mitsurugi and Yoda. And they've the best swords/the best everything and still.
But question..i forget but which single player mode do i use in order to increase points so that i can attain better powers i could use in create a character so I can increase things like my boost, gauge, special and powers ?
Thanks.

Oh.Yeah, I've never seen a critical finisher ever be performed in a real fight either where both fighters were playing seriously.

It would be great if they made this game into an RPG, with an open world like Oblivion. Also when levelling you would learn new moves, and utilize a system that the more you use certain specials the stronger or faster they become... well just a thought.
The guy who created God of War (forgot his name) said no to Namco about putting Kratos on the PS3 version of Soulcalibur IV.
Here what of either happened:
1: The deal Namco was giving wasn't a good deal at all.
2: The guy may have not liked Soul Calibur for some reason.
3: The guy thinks putting Kratos in a not god of war game is a dumb idea.
4: His game company was at war with Namco.
5: He just enjoys pissing gamers off just for fun (it's not funny to the gamers you jackass).
Charge attacks seemingly make alot of characters in this game really strong, characters like Yoshi, Cass, Hilde all come into mind, because they have very good, and frequent charge attacks in this game.
Seemingly, at this moment, any of the top/upper-tier characters have very good charge attacks, lolz.
Also, on another note, Mitsurugi after more play, is heavily, heavily nerfed from his SC3 counterpart. If you put SC4 Mitsu into SC3, he would suck badly, because one of his most potent attacks, such as 2K, B is super linear, and what makes it even more annoying is that 2k doesn't seem to knock down...which is bs if you ask me.
Alot of his other great attacks are severely nerfed as well, his Mist steps seem alright so far, definitely not as good as his older counterparts, however, I am not venting out of hate, because as nerfed as Mistu is...everyone else has been shot by the gun as well.
So even with SC4 Mitsu toned down, his playstyle is still strong enough to earn him a spot no lower then Upper-Tier in this game at this point.
I like it that Mitsu is still strong...but I hate the nerfing of his potent gameplays....seriously, things like 2K should not be nerfed...one of the reasons why Mitsu has always stayed strong was because of things like 2K helping him in his wakeup games.
I wished Namco didn't just go on a complete nerfing spree and actually just simply beefed up the characters who where not good, and only tone down the stupid bs that really good characters had, while allowing them retain the good things they had, that wasn't broken.
Nerfing of 2K is seriously annoying...gah...whenever I use that, I just simply weep at times, although it's still decent, it's not the huge threat it once was.

Learn to fight better maybe?
Lol, I'm very solid in Soul Calibur, used to play this game competitively, so my abilities would be solid, maybe not expert level like those SC elites, but better then the average gamer without a doubt.
It's not about "learning to fight better" as well, it's just unnecessary nerfs to Mitsu that he really didn't need. He didn't have a super powerful punisher like X's AAB, nor did he have a over the top move like he did in SC2 with KB2, now the Mist stance nerf...okay, I can sorta get with that. Although from what I've experienced, it's potency now in SC4 is greater against slower characters, but it struggles more up against faster characters...something that was never an issue in the past SC games.
One of my other SC buddy from out of state is telling me the opposite, that Mist is still sick...however, although I doubt it, I "might" be wrong on this. Maybe because I'm trying to utilize Mist more like OldSchool Mitsu.
However his 2K...I mean, come on, that's one of his strong points that was never insanely broken. With it not knocking you doing is horrible...it's a sweep for crying out loud. 2KB though is still very solid though, so really no gripe here for that, since it's range seems very good.
Another puzzling nerf is why is his 3B unsafe...why??? That makes absolutely no sense, again, a move that wasn't even overpowered to begin with.
Yet, as I stated before, even though he's nerfed, practically everyone else is nerfed, so even with his watered down game, he's still upper-tier at this point at the worst.
However, imo, the real reason why he's still most likely around up there, is for the fact that now in SC4, Wake Up games seem to be more potent in SC4, and Mitsu has one of the best Wakeup games in SC, so this in part helps him.
Again, my statement wasn't a saying of "why does Mitsu suck"...because quite frankly, he's far from it. I'm just left scratching my head on some of the pointless nerfs that he got which wasn't really necessary to begin with.
However, Namco does this alot, so I guess I really shouldn't be surprised.

example : "la la la.. I just spent the day reading a book while I had a VHS cassette tape on my run forward key, now my athletics is 200!.. weeeee~" *goes across the entire game map in 2 minutes*

I play SC4 competitively, as well (if you count home games). This past weekend we had a tourney at a friends house and they created the weirdest/most suspect tier/bracket set up i've ever seen in my life, i was like "wtf, man lol?". But w/e, I still played and i won that one. (all were ps3 owners/lovers and it's what we were playing) -I was the only 360 gamer there and i took 'em all down-. 12 wins in a row and exactly 3 perfects. There were a couple of close calls though. Not use to that ps3 cuntroller.
Later that day, the guy whom gave me the most comp, which was one of my best friends, and myself, right after a heated SC saga debate, -we've been playing fiercely against each other since before Soul Caliber 1, since street fighter 2 for the snes.- we played the "whomever wins 20 games first wins" tourney we've played since a week after "Mario Kart" came out for the Snes. We played 2 of those up to 20 games. He took me out the second time around by 3 games. We decided to continue it another day. The sun was coming up and i was exhausted. We're gonna pick up the Final fight tomorrow. (Most likely followed by an all new tourny with hopefully better prepared players. They all told me that last week won't happen again so we'll see.)
lol we should do it up to 50, him and i, for the last one..He'd do it too, lol.
The thing is, the whole, probably 90% of the time, we both used Miturugi against each other. He's been my, my friends too but mostly my, premier character choice since i first played the series, and i'll have to say that he plays the same and most of the time even better than than any earlier Miturugi. I thnk he'd actually defeat any early Mitsurugi. SC$ mitsurigi's gotten mad powerfu especially with al the upgrades. Lvl 9 Mitsu would crush any early Mitsurugi, to me. I say he's up their in Soul Caliber probably in the top 3 if not top 2. He's like the Ryu of the game. I think he's (always been) the most rounded fighter of the series. I think Miturugi is the flagship fighter for the Soul Caliber series.
It's my friends top pick to but be hates how Mitsurugi can still slash at him while he's side steps when i do the "forward, forward, Y" upper slash then downward slash move when Mitsu says "Hya! Time to Die!". My friend calls it "computer error". I laugh and say bs. Cause i do hit him. Or at least it looks like i do.

People thought Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was gonna be horrible a while back but look what happened there.
Though that's beside the point. If the Star Wars characters are properly represented, the SC cast doesn't stand a chance, and the game will be horrible. If the Star Wars characters are dumbed down to make the sides fair, half the cast is broken and the game will be horrible.
It's a formula that just doesn't work.
Vader, Yoda, and the Apprentice only appeared in SCIV for one reason: Publicity for The Force Unleashed.
