OoT is the best Zelda game i think 😊

Makes you feel the adventure, the love and the need to kick Ganon's ass back to hell πŸ˜›

I'm going to treat you like I treat BT. I will ignore you until you say something intelligent.

BT? Surely you do not mean BurningThought?

WW and OoT are about tied for best Princess Zelda.

I'm tired of her getting captured by Ganon in the games. Just once, I'd like to kick his ass as Zelda. Female fury FTW.

~ On an unrelated note, I finally got both KH and KH2. Naturally I'd play the former first, though you lot, which one is better? What say ye?

Awesome πŸ™‚

Hmm, good question. The first is better imo. It's more challenging, and the story is .... well it's fun, cute, mysterious and sweet. Though allot more... corny i suppose.

The second one is good, and by no means a let down to the first, but, i think it's just the case that it's very difficult for a sequel to beat the original. The second one is more serious, a notch up in 'coolness' and overall more mysterious.

Just my opinion. Though i am very tired, and slightly tipsy.

I've never gotten into Kingdom Hearts.

That's a shame i think. It can somewhat hard to get into, I'll admit, atleast thats how i felt when i first picked it up.

It's no Zelda, but it's a classic in its own right πŸ™‚

I had a problem getting into Dark Chronicle, or i think it's called Dark Cloud II in the US. But when i did it was well worth it πŸ™‚

This is untrue.

Not only did it not bring much of anything new to the series(can't fix perfection) but it in fact made the gameplay worse. Tripping randomly, infinite air dodging, slower gameplay, more floatiness, final smashes, ridiculously unbalanced characters, terribly laggy online, and Snake really shouldn't be in the game(imo). If it were Melee 2.0 like you claim it is, that would have been a good thing.

Can't argue with that logic. πŸ˜› Guess I was being too lenient there as to call it... what I called it. mmm

Seriously?

If there was some kind of rule or something that implied that Smash Bros was exempt from criticism, I must've missed it.

That's alright. I just finished watching DMC3 cutscenes and I'm pretty sure it's not as corny as Dante's one-liners. Though say no more, if it's reasonably challenging, I'm down with it.

Course, when a sequel and original are thought to be on the same level in terms of gameplay, plot and everything, I'd say the original would have the leg-up in the end as it is the original.

Seeing as you're about the only one that responded, merci beaucoup.

I always thought the guy was an intelligent poster, though I've only seen him in one or two threads. Meh.

I played the original to death. 😐

But eh Dark Cloud was my very first PS2 game so...

OoT Zelda is weak and is another damsel in distress. At least TP Zelda can fight instead of acting damn helpless

Too bad we didn't get the good KH2.

...seriously? Seriously? OoT Zelda schemed as a child against a dangerous adult Ganondorf, devised the plan to gather the Spiritual Stones first, had the foresight to give Link the Ocarina as she escaped with Impa, spent Link's seven-year nap learning how to be one of the Sheikah, and Link would not have been able to complete his mission without Zelda's aid as Sheik.

Contrast TP Zelda, who... surrendered Hyrule to Zant immediately, barely under duress, and then was quite content to remain locked in her room mourning. Her only contributory effort was firing Light Arrows at Ganondorf during one quarter of the final battle with him.

but the pretty graphics

At least TP Zelda can fight instead of acting helpless. She only surrendered to prevent her people from being massacred. Let's not forget that she was the matriarch and was the reason Midna still survived. She was valuable enough for Ganondorf to use. The only thing wrong with her is her role in the plo

I don't know... I think that the title "Twilight Princess" basically says it all in reference to who the game features more prominently. Zelda is just a good keeper of past historical events. Hence why the games are the Legend of Zelda.

There's no evidence at all that TP Zelda can fight. Ganon fights using her body as a puppet, but there was no actual skill in that, either technical or Zelda's own. Midna survived because of TP Zelda, but countless Hylians survived as a result of OoT Zelda's work as Sheik.

OoT Zelda is far superior to the TP version.

In short - TP Zelda was nothing but a puppet and figurehead.

OoT Zelda kicked serious ass, evaded capture for years, and pretty much kept the entire kingdom from being overrun.
