Clearly you do not know what a villain is 😐.

Him being anti-heroic is a nice change. Far too many protagonists these days are noble. Having a character that will do whatever it takes to gain his revenge just makes him more of a bad-ass. Besides, such badassery fits perfectly for feel of the Blades of Chaos/Athena.
