both of thsoe franchises suck imo so i could see that.

as for the matrix well... im actually not that big of a sci-fi fan. 😐

I'm not a sci-fi fan either.

I love the Matrix, though, it's amazing. It's how I ended up on KMC πŸ˜›

@ Sin: you MUST see The Godfather series, truly a masterpiece.
@ Ms. Marvel yes the matrix is one of the most revoltutionary films.

Trivia, did you know the "bullet time" feature was originated in Max Payne games first just that matrix got it before hand.

Yet you like HaloπŸ˜›. Watch Matrix, it's a head turner.
EDIT: nevermind, you did watch it. Well, then I recommend that you watch the entire trilogy.

Then again, I shouldn't be talking. I haven't even seen a James Bond movie or Godfather.

James Bond I can understand, but Godfather?

ive seen reloaded and revolutions already! πŸ˜„ not as good as the first one methinks.

and yesh... halo... exception!

I generally like sci-fi, but The Matrix was an exception.

I got unlucky. I still haven't seen Alien, Aliens, Diehard, Terminator 2, Rambo, Clockwork Orange, Bladerunner, any Robocop movie, Batman, Friday the 13th, Halloween, any X-Men movie, the Rocky movies, American Pie, Fight Club, etc.

The sequels shouldn't be made. It murdered the storyline and mystery. Though there was great action scenes in Reloaded.

Ummm...English, please? What you say makes no sense.

If you're trying to say that bullet time originated from the Max Payne games...that would rather require a time paradox, as the Matrix came out in 1999, two years before Max Payne came out...and yeah. I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

I feel as though the bold are the only real tragedies there. And regarding Rocky movies, you can ignore #5 completely. It is easily the worst of them all. But do see the recent one titled Rocky Balboa, that was really good.

And you can ask any X-Men fan and they'll tell you the X-Men movies are bad. Except perhaps the first one. I do know some X-Fans liked that one.

Edward Norton is just awesome.

I've never seen Fight Club, nor do I really care to, for that matter.

All of the pretentious quasi-philosophical fans of it just piss me the hell off and it doesn't sound like anything I'd enjoy.

I hadn't seen it either, but I watched it one day because it was on TV.

Is it amazing? Nah. But it's good. Kind of like The Dark Knight.

My hand is on my Flame Shield. Do your worst, people!

Edit: Actually, I wouldn't even go as far to say that Fight Club is something that could realistically happen.

I haven't seen a James Bond movie since Daniel Craig or whoever took over Pierce Brosnan's role of the character.

And it's never too late to see The Matrix if you hadn't saw it already. πŸ˜› Same for Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.

Ironic.

Aren't you a Star Wars fan though? I think that qualifies as being a sci-fi fan.

Not seeing any Robocop film is also a tragedy. uhuh

I'm a die-hard X-Men fan and I liked the 2nd movie the best out of the three (even more than the first). 😐 And I don't count X-Men Origins Wolverine as even a "movie". lol

As the Hulk, I agree.

I haven't seen many, many of the so-called movie classics and I honestly don't feel like I'm missing out on something.

Well you are whether you think so or not.

Maybe. Maybe not. I think Peach has it right; most of these movies are overhyped by pretentious fans.

With you on both counts.

Oooh, missing out on a lot. I cannot vouch for the 'traditional' horror movies since I'm not a Horror fan.

Meh, I thought the sequels did a decent job; not as good a job as the predecessor.
Smith getting into the 'real' world was a crap sub-plot though.

Or maybe they're just good. Meh, everyone has a different taste anyway.

The Pierce Brosnan movies weren't that great all things considered. They were funny as anything though, what with the innuendo and stuff πŸ˜‚

Brosnan's really suave as Bond, but I dunno, I just like Daniel Craig's version for some reason. Guess it's because he's grittier or something.

Well, Sci-Fi fan would typically mean that she loves sci-fi elements in general, no matter where they are *in most cases*. She just likes the Star Wars series, and it happens to have Sci-Fi elements. Doesn't make her a fan of Sci-Fi, just of Star Wars.

Not really.

And no it doesn't.

...and I definitely just got distracted watching the burly brawl clip there. Damn. Now I want to watch Matrix later when I get home πŸ˜›

Edward Norton is beast all the time, not just as Hulk.

Go watch American History X.
