Then that isn't really sexism, that's them making their decision based on the person they feel more confident about.Your point was that language changes. Those insults come from a time period when it was offensive for a man to be called womanly. But since the terms stick, they're here. The Asia example is an extreme case of a term sticking around for a very long time. Language will not always change.
This I know. And my point was that it is not a sexist mindset. My point was that if I told I looked feminine it would imply I might not have a penis, which I will take offense to for several reasons. Mostly because I DO have a penis and I like it. I'm rather attached to it. I'm pretty sure most other people feel the same way about their parts.
Please, work on your reading comprehension.
one is selected simply because of what their gender is.
Discrimination. Plain and simple.
Language does always change. Try reading something written just 500 years ago - read Shakespeare that hasn't been updated to current English. Your example was not an extreme one (proper names for areas do not even come close to equating to common vernacular), it was a poor one. And most do not come from it being insulting to call a man womanly. They come from the fact that women were always seen as being pure, and if they weren't for any reason they were a terrible person and ridiculed and insulted.
Why does it matter what they imply when you know it to be truthfully incorrect?

@ScreamPaste: I don't care. I just don't want to encounter a dude coming for my lower belt is all I'm saying.
Yeah, guess what.
Just because someone is gay/bisexual/anything other than straight, it does not mean they are automatically attracted to everyone of the gender(s) they prefer. No more than straight people are.
What an egotistical mindset. "I don't like gay people because they might hit on me". Get over yourself, kid, you're not that special.

That's not a reading comprehension problem, that was me stopping after you agreed with me and moving on to the next point.
It's the same deal. Terms stick.
I believe you just implied that women are better than men. You sexist.

You know, at my previous job, my closest coworker was gay. Hilariously so. We joked about it all the time. And as soon as I told him I was straight, I was off-limits.
Gay guys aren't rabid sex-crazed fanatics. They're people too. If heterosexual girls aren't over you, homosexual guys won't want your pale ass either.

Didn't think that show could make me laugh, but the delivery on that sausage line is perfect.
YouTube video This looks good. But the trailers always do.

A decrease in bullying results in less things like wedgies, meaning you have no bad experiences with things going into your ass. Not to mention it means less children have to man up and face their problems. A genuine part of being masculine is having the mindset that you are tough. Facing your fears and problems adds to this.I actually don't remember my point on this one, but to say that society isn't obsessed with women is a pretty big denial.
Look at trends. A balance can be found in everything. Since we are defying death for longer and longer every year, an increase in gay couples helps to keep the population in check.
I don't remember my point for this one either, somebody should have made me type this up yesterday.
This is also a big cause for rape. Every teenage girl in America walks around in short skirts, tight jeans, tight shirts and all kinds of tops that show cleavage, skin, and everything that can possibly draw blood from the brain to the penis. Dangle a sausage in front of a starving dog for long enough and he'd try to smash through just about anything to get to it. But that's the rape part.
I also just remembered the second point, that society is too obsessed with women. It's intimidating for men. And there's all those stereotypes of women treating gay men like one of their girlfriends. That one and this one are kinda the same deal. Fashion trends help make women more intimidating.
And you are proud of this?

Homosexuals are gay
Mostly, yes. Sometimes they are driven to depression through the hate from particular sections of society. Same reason why I generally hide my sexuality. It's not that I'm not proud of it, I'm just afraid.
