A decrease in bullying results in less things like wedgies, meaning you have no bad experiences with things going into your ass. Not to mention it means less children have to man up and face their problems. A genuine part of being masculine is having the mindset that you are tough. Facing your fears and problems adds to this.

I actually don't remember my point on this one, but to say that society isn't obsessed with women is a pretty big denial.

Look at trends. A balance can be found in everything. Since we are defying death for longer and longer every year, an increase in gay couples helps to keep the population in check.

I don't remember my point for this one either, somebody should have made me type this up yesterday.

This is also a big cause for rape. Every teenage girl in America walks around in short skirts, tight jeans, tight shirts and all kinds of tops that show cleavage, skin, and everything that can possibly draw blood from the brain to the penis. Dangle a sausage in front of a starving dog for long enough and he'd try to smash through just about anything to get to it. But that's the rape part.

I also just remembered the second point, that society is too obsessed with women. It's intimidating for men. And there's all those stereotypes of women treating gay men like one of their girlfriends. That one and this one are kinda the same deal. Fashion trends help make women more intimidating.

All of that is rather disgusting.

But it got replies, which was my intent.

First paragraph makes you look like you just watched Hentai ๐Ÿ˜

Women aren't disturbed by gay men since they don't rape women which is why homos are allowed into the ranks of female. Either that or women just want to be nice to gay men so they can make the women some nice fashionable outfits or whatever. It's either one of the two.

I wouldn't call it disgusting. Bunch of theories that are more likely than not incorrect.

Nemesis, you are highly ignorant and offensive. Do everyone a favor and shut up for once.

Really? I call it a bunch of BS with nothing to back it up. Certainly not a theory.

Well, theories can be a bunch of bullshit with nothing to back them up. Ehh, I guess the word I was looking for was hypothesis.

No, the entire point of a theory is that it does have evidence to back it up ๐Ÿ˜›

Probably going to work this idea into my project, so thanks for the idea ๐Ÿ˜›

So tell me Peach, if a gay guy tried getting into your group, how would you respond to it?

Not all of it is BS. The universe naturally pursuing a balance in all things is a legitimate hypothesis.

And you can't tell me society isn't obsessed with femininity nowadays.

Nor can you tell me that being tough isn't related to the concept of masculinity.

And just so you don't hate my guts for the rest of your life, I don't care about gay people. Personally I find the idea of two men having sex to be rather disgusting, but I don't have to look at it, so it doesn't matter to me. Treat them like people.

The very fact that you asked this shows that you know absolutely nothing about me whatsoever.

No, society is not obsessed with femininity, unless you mean how there's still the stupid idea that woman have to be dainty and graceful and feminine to be worthwhile. And who cares anyway? The very concepts of femininity and masculinity just buy further into societal gender roles, which are BS and need to be done away with. You can be a straight guy without being 'tough' (especially since 90% of the time people use being tough as an excuse for being a douchebag).

Theories, hypotheses. It sometimes does feel like there's no difference. There are far too many people in the world โ€” especially now, with the dawn of the Internet โ€” who try to push across their theories as facts and get terribly offended when they are put under scrutiny.

Way to dodge the bullet and I'm not interested in making a biography of you so why does it matter if I know you or not? All I know about you is that you hate dudes who dislike gay dudes and you have a relationship with General Kaliero. What else do you want me to know about you, what year you were born, what your favorite color is? Get off my back already.

Right. So you want to know how I'd react if a gay guy tried joining my group of friends. Well, his sexuality would have absolutely no impact on anything whatsoever.

I identify as bisexual, as it's the closest term that people widely understand that applies to my sexuality (it doesn't fit me perfectly, though). I have stated this fact many a time on here. Of my three closest friends, two are bisexual and one is bicurious. Most of my friends are bicurious at the very least. In high school I was one of the founders of my school's Gay-Straight Alliance, and one of the most outspoken members when parents tried getting it shut down after we held our first Day of Silence - and the meeting about that occurred after I had graduated high school, that's how much I cared about it.

So why do you think what sexuality someone identifies with at all even crosses my mind if they were to try and join my group of friends? If they're a cool person and I get along with them, then awesome. New friend. That's it.

Of course I dislike people who bash on and attack anyone who's not a normative heterosexual. You think I like being attacked over who I am? **** no I don't.

I'm interested how you'd react, Nemesis.

So does this make me a jackass for preferring the woman with long hair who wears dresses to parties over the short haired body builder who would rather wear a tuxedo?

You can also do away with societal gender roles without doing away with the concept of masculinity and femininity. Which is kind of what the general idea was anyway.

No, I suppose it does not as long as you're not an ass about it, but that works both ways anyway.

Not really, because everyone has their own preferences. I have pretty specific preferences as to what I like in both men and women (well, it's really more a list of what I don't like, but yeah). You can't deny, though, that standard societal views of beauty and what a proper woman should be influence it, though.

And considering the two are so closely linked, not really. Why is it such an insult to most guys if you suggest that their lacking in masculinity? Because even if they don't realize it, it's suggesting that they're feminine or seen as a woman, which implies weakness, and is seen as a bad thing. Unfortunately pretty much everything in the media still buys into this, so it's something that's going to take a damn long time to break down, even though it's the 21st century and we should be moving past this stuff by now.

I see the societal gender roles already gone. The idea of the perfect woman isn't a stay at home mom anymore.

No, it's not because being feminine implies weakness, it's because they know they're male, and they'd rather not look like a female. I'm sure a woman would rather not be seen as a male for the same reason. It's like if I walked up to you and said "You look like you have a penis."

So wait, you and your friends are half-lesbian and you've been arguing with me because I have a dislike towards gay men even though I never added women into the mix? How the heck are you offended again?

...no. They're not gone. They still exist, very strongly, and it's still difficult for women to get anywhere in most areas of higher education (past undergrad level) or the corporate world.

Ask yourself this - why are so many insults female-oriented, but have to have modifiers added to them to be used against a guy?

Not even close, and at any rate, most women would probably just roll their eyes at you and walk on.

Let's see.

Not all of my friends are female.

I pointed out in the past how a lot of people who think gay men are disgusting think gay women are hot, and you said you also thought that was disgustting.

How can I not be offended when you make such sweeping, ignorant, stupid generalizations about sexuality?
