I love my PS3, wouldn't get a 360 for any reason.
I'm of the idea that the PS3 will have enough good exclusives at some point, it's only a matter of time. But then it'll still be outsold by the 360 which has so many shooters it could be college dorm in the 60s.
Blarg, the Sony fanboy in me is waiting for Sly 4, inFamous 2, KH3, and moar Ratchet and Clank. I like having the old Spyro's on my PS3, too.
I have to say this, the gameplay of GoW is fun for a while. My friend had a PS2 and i would play stuff at his house. I could see making it through an entire playthrough of GoW, however the easy gameplay, terribly cliche main character, and worthless storyline make it equal to Gears of War in my eyes... which is overall a more fun game if only because of the multiplayer.
Well, I've never liked action-adventure games much, so there's a strike against GoW right from the start. I don't like how ridiculously over the top it is. And, as I've always loved Greek mythology, I don't like how it completely bastardizes the mythology it's based on.
So, yeah. Never liked them much.

The PS3 has been outselling the 360 worldwide for some time now, and outsold them by over a million worldwide this past holiday season. They've closed the gap to like 4 million consoles. In the US, its mostly a stalemate now month to month after the PS3's pricecut, although the 360 still has a much larger overall install base in the states.

The PS3 has been outselling the 360 because 360 sales have plateaued. This is because most everyone owns them already, and it hasn't been worth buying a PS3 until now.
Now, if only Sony would bother to actually restock retailers with PS3s, that'd be great...

God of War is the absolute epitome of the hack and slash genre, DMC and Bayonetta can **** a sheep.
Easy gameplay? Well compared to what? I have never had any difficulty whatsoever with a Zelda game, and you like that.

lol when did I say DMC or Bayonetta were any good? DMC is "meh" at best and Bayonetta can die in the burning sulfurs of hell for all eternity. LoZ is definitely easy, well the 3D's are at least.

Only recently can you say they've plateaued, and the PS3 has been outselling the 360 worldwide for at least a couple of years now. That first year head start is being chipped away at pretty quickly. Still, just saying.

The PS3's only been out for a few years, and it's only started to catch up in sales in the past one year. And 360 sales plateaued a while back. That's why they dropped prices on the 360 a year and a half ago. Same with the Wii - sales plateaued and they dropped the price.

Over the top? As in the gore? Fair enough.
I never understood criticisms like that, rejecting something because it is not exactly like what it is based on.
