I think that they don't really care. They made so much money off of everyone already with the Wii, that it's probably of no consequence.

My guess would be that they planned to use this generation to gather funds with a gimmick (Wii motion) and use that money for the next-gen console. For as many units as they have sold, they are probably sitting on a stash that's going to be poured into making the best possible console with a high graphics engine, I hope...........

Sony copied the Wii for no good reason. If they wanted higher sales they could have just, you know, made more games.

Pop out a couple generic shooters and sales go through the roof.

I care for Sony no more, though technically, they have the best system, just a lack of reason for anyone to buy it, as they don't really have any games.

Well I enjoy the games I have on the Wii, but it's not as good as the Gamecube. I had a ton of great games on GC. If Nintendo would step up customer service and actually introduce a freakin online component that didn't suck ass maybe they could do a little better.

Indeed. They have more big exclusives than anyone courtesy of them having the best and largest collection of first Party devs. There are few third party exclusives nowadays for anybody.

And they have a much bigger range of software than just a lot of shooters.
