I'm not offended, but you are speaking without knowing what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure I know whether or not I have any faith in anything or anyone much better than you do. And as it stands, I do not, I do not understand how people can, and I don't like the idea of faith. I place anything I believe in based on where the evidence lies; I always have. And faith requires belief based on absolutely no proof or evidence whatsoever.

Oh? It seems to me that you have faith in General Kaliero, or is that not true? Faith can merely be about the future; it doesn't have to be about something you've never experienced before.

I believe in him because I've seen many, many times what sort of person he is. It's not some blind thing based on what I want to see or have. And he knows it's pretty much impossible for me to have faith in a relationship, based on my own experiences.

No, that is not something I would have faith in; it is something that I know would not happen based on knowing what sort of person he is and how he feels about that sort of thing himself. Evidence suggests it would never happen (which is a good thing, else I wouldn't be with him), hence I believe it won't.

I know how I think. I know how I chose to believe things or not. I certainly know my own relationship and my boyfriend far better than any of you ever will. And none of this is based on 'faith'.
