Actually, the PoP movie recently became the highest-grossing video game movie of all time, with $312,221,879 as of June 27. It also reached the #1 spot in 41 of the 47 countries it released in.

For the other parts of your post, you are blatantly ignoring fact for personal opinion and complete disregard for logic, and I can't debate that.

I'll have to look into that because I highly doubt that considering how awful it did in the us of a.

I'm not disregarding logic what so ever.

Can anyone say Quan-tum Physics?

Another lame attempt at humor from a zelda fan who doesn't know what an alternate reality is and that zelda games are fictional.

It was more of a comparison. I didn't actually mean that it was on the same lvl as Spongebob, but Happy Tree Friends is. I related to GoW because HTF has ridiculous amounts of blood and violence too. It's great, and I like it, but it's still immature. I chose the two because they was both cartoons, Spongebob was just the first one that came to mind.

I would respond to Quan, but after reading to catch up with the thread, i really don't see the need after all he's said. It's just pointless. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

It's you who doesn't get it nor will you ever. The ratings backs me up not any of you, sport.

You can also make a woman climax but I guess that's no big deal either, right?

Excuse me,

but WTF is this bullshit?

DMC, Twilight, Jonas Brothers, Call of Duty, High School Musical, Justin Bieber, Halo.

All of these are popular.

All of these are also mediocre to shit in terms of quality.

Popularity means **** all in terms of quality, and saying something is popular only succeeds in naking you look like an idiot.

I said popularity is the bigger goal in terms of anything in life which usually doesn't mean it sucks. Di dI use the word never, no. Twilight is very successful and that's the point of all this. I find lok very original but it failed in terms of success. Sure it has a lot of loyal fans but it never ever went as mainstream as it could have otherwise I wouldn't have to deal with this company still churning out tomb raiders which I personally despise.

These are subjective topics and your opinion is only your opinion. The name of the game most often is making money and in that regard twilight is a huge success. Cry all you want about how stupid it is they are laughing themselves to the bank.

Oh...wow. I really can't believe this.

How can you argue that something that is directly taken from something else is original, when that is the very definition of unoriginal?

Okay, you don't like the Phantom Ganon fight. However, that is irrelevant. Yes, games have done that sort of thing since. When OoT came out? Nothing of that sort had been done. That is the point. It was original, because it was brand-new and never done before when it came out.

The Prince of Persia actually holds a very high amount of critical acclaim and recognition. It basically created a new genre, and as such has influenced the game industry in ways that GoW could never hope to.

What video game movie has ever done exceptionally well? None, but the PoP movie has the distinction of having been the best one made to date by a long shot, and it was in fact a success. Also, I wouldn't pay much attention to critic reviews, since if you actually do some research, popular opinion is that most of the reviewers did not actually watch the movie.

GoW sells better because it appeals to the teenaged-minded boys that revel in senseless gore and violence, as opposed to the gamers that prefer something a bit more sophisticated and intelligent.

And yes, I would say that anyone that likes Twilight is a terrible person that doesn't have two brain cells to rub together, because ye gods is it horrible shite.

They are lossely based on greek fiction the boss battles aren't unoriginal. They weren't handed a blueprint in how to make Poseidon they can up with his designs themselves just like the majority of the other characters.

So him coming out of paintings had never been done before.

Gow has it's own genre and is credited with it as well hence you see dante's inferno and early previews of castlevania as being described as gow lite. Gow is a lot more successful than pop.

Most men in general like gore. You throw in cool fight scenes, cool weapons, a cool story, and a bad ass who actually terrifies his enemies and you have winner on your hands. Kratos has immortalized himself as a character.

Now you insult the twilight fan base simply because you don't like it. Who cares it's successful which is the aim of any movie franchise. I also think star trek is for trekkies and the nerdiest of the nerds but it was successful so I won't begrudge them simply because I don't care for it personally.

You a true blood fan or does that suck as well?

Quan, you went from saying Zelda was going downhill to now stating something so obvious that it doesn't even need to be said. Yes Twilight is popular. But that doesn't make it any less crappier.

Zeldas have been going downhill for some time. TP is a rehash o foot with some slight differences but for the most part it's very similar.

If you feel it's crappy that's your opinion but it's very successful.

All gameplay on the console games have been very similar to OoT. And TP is considered to be a game made to please the OoT fans. Still don't know your point. There have been 2 games on the DS since then that I know about, both of which seem to bring new things to the series from what I've seen. I suppose those are bad too, otherwise it would mean you're wrong and the series isn't going downhill.

I don't feel it's crap, I know it's crap. I've read all 4 books and watched 2 of the movies. They are trash. I don't care if it is successful. Also, to point out that you make such horrible points, allow me to copy and paste a few things you just said.

Proof or shut the hell up already.

Not that you will even provide evidence because you usually don't.

Can't stand it, it's utter shit.

I have only seen/read one vampire-related thing that did not make me want to throw up my arms in disgust, and that was Sunshine by Robin McKinley. Oh, and the X-Files episode "Bad Blood". But that's it. I greatly dislike and am incredibly bored by the entire vampire mythos.

My dislike for Twilight, though, is that it's just bad - the vampires are just the glitter on the shit-cake. Extremely poorly written, thinly veiled "Look how good a Mormon I am!" self-insert fiction that revolves around an abusive relationship. Yup, that's really going to make for excellent reading.

True blood is a good read.

Vampire: The Masquerade clan novels were good reads

<3 Lasombra

also interesting that they chose to make it one word for their fiction but the whole thing is La Sombra - the shadow.

I tried out a V:tM game, but I just couldn't get into it at all. Even with having created a Brujah character (yay violence!). Vampires are just not in the least bit interesting to me.

More than the actual game, I like the fiction. If you get the chance pick up a clan novel if you can still find one. Good stuff.

I'll pass. Like I said, I find the entire vampire mythos extremely boring and uninteresting, and the few exceptions I've found so far I can count on one hand and still have the majority of my fingers left over. Definitely not interested in seeking out stuff about something I don't like at all to begin with.

bah, you're no fun... how about Mechwarrior RPG 3rd edition? ๐Ÿ˜„

I'm not wrong at all and since the series best is 12 years in the past that alone proves my point.

I agree with your twilight assessments. I enjoy it to see the fights though. I always wanted to see werewolves taking on vampires and didn't feel that it was covered enough in the underworld movies.

You should give true blood a shot the characters are enjoyable. It's my favorite show and lots of people I talk to love it. Not the same twilight crowd mind you.

Ah, so since the best game in the series(or at least, the favorite game of many fans) was made a while ago, the series has no option but to go downhill. I see I see. Well.....how about looking up critics opinion of Twilight Princess instead of assuming that every game since Ocarina of Time is crap. Because really, that is such a shallow opinion coming from someone who hardly knows the series and continuously calls it a kiddie game.

Fights in Twilight suck. And there isn't a single werewolf in it. ๐Ÿ˜

I tried watching True Blood. I found it terrible. Doesn't help that I don't like watching TV anyway, but yeah. Just bad.

I have played five games of the series, the main console not the gameboy ones.

Tp was terribly boring I just went through it because I wanted to finish it but hardly enjoyed it.

They are kiddie games.
Yes, some consider those werewolves just like true blood as werewolves as wolves too. I disagree but I have gotten used to you being wrong by now.

Quan you haven't even presented no proof that Zelda has been going down hill so I'm going to assume your wrong as usuall and tell everybody your opinions are not to be regarded.

and I thought Nemesis X was unintelligent but atleast he gives reasonable answers.

Just like Peach saying True blood is bad its your opinion Zelda is kiddie and it doesn't make it true.

5 games out of 16? Good Job. Yep, you definitely get the right to say its gone hill since OoT. I mean out of the 5 you played, it was the 4th made.

Some fans even say the game kicked ass. And critics really liked it too. So hey, go figure. You're opinion doesn't matter and its a shallow one that you have on one game and use to reflect on the whole series. Nice.

Genocide says hi.
๐Ÿ˜‚

The kid who read the books is wrong? In the last book, the werewolves aren't werewolves at all. They are called shapeshifters. Really necessary to change that right?

If you feel riding on chickens, and wearing kiddie masks screams mature content then that's your problem but playing the games it's obvious they are kiddie.

If you want to pretend it's not kiddie I can't stop you.

I don't count the gameboy games.

Most fans say the game was a disappointment and I agreed it was terrible.

How would I know that at this point they are portrayed as werewolves so what's your point?
