For god's sake, Quan, how can you be like this? You do not have the experience to argue any sort of view about Zelda whatsoever. And what views you do have show evidence of an extremely shallow perspective, with blatant disregard for anything that disagrees with your cozy current stance.
Actually experience the games you deign to attempt discussing, and then you may speak on their content. Until then, your opinion on them is hollow.
The people I have talked to who have played far more zelda games than I have agree with me on these types of things but here it's like dealing with a bunch of zelda fans who will argue anything for the series just because someone else doesn't think highly of it.
Originally posted by MooCowofJusticeYes, I do pay attention to the plot the game was lame to me. maybe I'll play it again and give it another go in the future who knows.
So you don't pay any attention whatsoever to the plot is what you are saying?Frankly I can't imagine Wind Waker having any other style of graphics. Cel shading worked so well for effects like the wind blowing and the smoke from the bombs. I think it also made it possible for the game to run more smoothly due to it being easier to animate all the moving water, but I can't prove that. For some reason it's just something that I seem to think is true.
It's kiddie graphics though were a real turnoff.

Like how OoT was a kiddie game and yet you were stuck on it for 12 hours?1. Graphic deaths are by no means special. And being able to watch it does not make you mature.
2. If graphic deaths was your original point, why not mention it?
3. If you declare yourself right, you probably aren't.
4. You dodge points left and right and ignore them while also changing the subject.
5. I really need to f*king play Zelda if I'm going to keep doing this. ๐
1.According to any ratings system in the world it does. I guess you'd let 4 year olds watch r rated films with just graphic violence which makes you wronfg.
2.You don't seem to get anything I have ever said so with you I have to mentioned everything.
3.Nope.
4.What have I dodged?
5.So you haven't even played zelda?
Originally posted by MadMelI actually might play this game just because you feel it's dark but I guarantee I'll be laughing at how kiddie it is. Your opinion of what is dark is probably more comedic to me more than anything anyways.
Yes, the darkest and one of the most violent games in the series was too kiddie for you. Way to go. If you put graphics above everything else in a game then what little credibility you had is gone. ๐ฌ
oh god not you again - learn when to quit, boy ๐ฌ
Not actually Porky Pig, but sounds like him.

I just don't consider it as one of the classics. It's good, yes, but it doesn't compare to the others.

Yes, I know, and yes I was being silly. Now that I'm going into detail.... Link has no audible voice in his games, except for when he yells, and his speech isn't written down, or shown, like the other characters, except for the yes and no answers, and when it's obvious when he speaks, like for example when he tells ppl his name is Link. but I was technically still right, we will never hear Link say his name is Link, so therefore he has no voice... just the ability to yell. Mostly because Miyamoto wont allow it ๐

1. If said 4 year old walks into room while a movie with graphic violence is on, I honestly wouldn't care. Its probably too young to even care about said violence.
2. No, I understand everything you say. You seem to think I don't because I question it.

4. Why is Twilight Princess such a terrible game for starters?
5. No. I argue against you for teh lulz. What's awesome is you can't really even prove its gone downhill to me, which you should have been able to do with quite ease.
Now, hush. We're talking about our Disney Movies here.

Dun't care.I'll say it again, slowly, incase you have a hard time understanding.
Popularity. Means. Nothing.
Did I use the term, "always"? No. Lots of popular things are actually well done. But, the popularity of something never dictates how well it actually is.
I could give a shit if Twilight was successful or not. The point is, in your post, you said that if something is popular, it usually doesn't suck. This is false.
Twilight, for all it's success, is complete and utter shit. This is fact. It is horribly written. This is fact.
It's successful, sure. Dun't care. But, successful or not, it sucks. Ass. It is a piece of shit that has ruined the term "vampire", and never should have been written, let alone published. It is a horrible piece of work that will not be remarked upon as good by professional critics, despite its popularity. It sucks
Stop talking like your opinion is fact, as it is, infact, not worth shit. It is neither solid fact, as much as you BAWWWWWWWW about it, nor is it valued. Go ask the other members if you want confirmation.
I said usually which this could be an exception so my statement isn't incorrect at all. I can put up the definition for usually since you didn't catch it's meaning the first time. it doesn't mean always.
My opinion is my opinion don't let it ruffle your feathers I have a right to criticize games I feel are lackluster nowadays. deal with it.
Originally posted by linkownsyousobsThey are't meaningless but keep throwing a tantrum just because they side with me. This is just getting ridiculous.... F*** your ratings, they are retarded, and don't mean sh**. As, my friend, Aura pointed out awhile back, KH got a T rating because of one scene that had blood in it. A game related to Disney, which is certainly "kiddie friendly" has a TEEN rating because of one scene. Again, and hopefully this is the last time I have to tell u... ESRB ratings F***ING are meaningless.GTA did it first, and I was little when it first happened to me.... so yeah, no big deal. It's not like it traumatized me, or anything.
You know... it's really sad that ppl half your age still have to tell u this, and that you still don't understand.... oh well, it's just more proof that maturity has nothing to do with age. ๐
Also.... F*** Twilight, I hate it so much... u have no idea. The books were "ok" to an extent. I started reading them because Vampires kick ass.... but the whole sparkle idea, and the non violence really pissed me off. Eclipse was ok because there was actually a fight at the end, and leads me to believe that the 3rd movie will be bearible at least. The 4th book was utter sh** after I finished it. I thought it would be ok towards the end because they spent half of the book preparing for the fight with the Volturi... and idroduce a bunch of kick-ass vamps into the series, but no... Towards the end when they all meet at the end, not one F***INg thing happens... they all talk it out and leave... continuing to live out their lives as if it never even happened.
To an added note... Kristen Stewart is a good actress in my opinion. A lot of ppl say that she is horrible actress after she took on the Twilight series, but I personally believe that she took on Bella's personality almost perfectly. If you read the books you find that Bella doesn't really have one.... she's just a b*** that doesn't believe in herself, and tries to be nice to everyone so the can be friends, but doesn't care to tear out their heart if it's for Edward... the Cullens are essentially the only thing she actually cares about, although she doesn't admit it until after the damage to Jacob was done. If you watch her other movies though she's pretty good as far as acting goes. The Messengers was decent, and I enjoyed the Runaways because I'm a big rock fan. Panic Room was ok too... didn't really like the movie, but she was still doing some decent acting in it.
and DBZ is beast... I'll always be a fan. DBGT was a shame to the series, but SS4 Goku & SS4 Gogeta was just awesome. It really sucks that they aren't cannon.
edit: Also Quan, your opinion of Zelda needs to stop now, you have no idea what your talking about. First off, a lot of the games are similiar beacuse of their enemies, but that has nothing to do with originalality. A lot of francizes do this. Most of the games are completly different, and Miyamoto experiments a lot with this series. As far as I'm concerned the series may not have made a better game since OoT, but that game was legendary. It was at the dawn of 3D gaming, and has influenced a lot of newer games today. Even though they haven't made a game that most Zelda fans like better that OoT, it doesn't mean that the newer games are starting to suck, or that the fan base is dropping. I personally like TP, WW, and the handheld games... they are actually quite enjoyable, and I'm sure that a lot more Zelda fans, other than me, will agree. So as far as I'm concerned, untill u beat all, or at least play all off the Zelda games. Your opinion doesn't man s***.
Not saying it would but it is still an adult thing that most young kids shouldn't be exposed to. That's the point.
It's sad that people like yourself still don't understand basic common sense and the fact that gore and what not isn't appropriate for young children.
I've argued with many zelda fans against characters from games they haven't even played yet here comes another zelda fan throwing a hissyfit because I think the series is lackluster. You don't need to read every superman comic to argue for or against superman. That's the point, sport.
I have played enough zelda games to warrant an opinion and most zelda fans on here anyways don't even need to play the games for characters they argue against.
