Just over 3 hours, so far. My only problems are Samus talking like a Japanese person, and Adam being an absolute dick not allowing use of your Varia suit until much later than it could have been helpful.

Yeah that was kind of dumb. I also ended up spending a stupid amount of time where they keep you in first person mode and you have to search for something... nothing looked important to me so I made a sandwich and came back and found it...

Also... Samus is so very brutal in this game, no mercy at all. Only Beams or Missiles colliding with faces. Also lulz at pulling a Kratos and just ripping the wings off the flying insects.

Overall I'm very impressed, this game is Metroid.

I don't know about it being the best in the series since Metroid 3, but it was good. And by that I mean incredibly good. Only got 36% items collected in the end though. Will get 100% later so I can unlock hard mode and what not.

But holy shit. Without directly spoiling anything, you'll be surprised at some of the familiar bosses you'll face. 😮

And lol @ Nemesis trying to make sense out of Powerpuff Girls.

Just watched the X-Play review for Other M, I regret that decision. I doubt Morgan ever played a Metroid game previous to this one or knew anything about the backstory until this. In fact she probably skipped all the story scenes and tried to get Samus to put a chainsaw on the gun.

Morgan scored it 2/5, I lol'd. She was mad cause females have emotion and Samus isn't purely an emotionless killing machine.

Sadly through what I've played Samus doesn't seem to get any more feats than what she had before aside from adding the diffusion beam to her arsenal, now she doesn't even have to be accurate. Beam stacking ftw.

I don't want to tell you to watch her terrible review of the game so just trust me, Samus having human qualities disgusted her apparently. Also she apparently doesn't know you can dodge attacks right out of first person view at any time... lol
