I just now realized that Raziel's design was inspired by Nightcrawler's.

Ah, Bastion. Still the same bastard I remembered him to be.

Othello > Macbeth ,due to Iago. Iago's a gift of a villain.

Plus the awesome Kenneth Branagh portrayed him in a film.

Definitely agreed. Probably just saying that though because I had to roleplay some short bits of Iago's script as part of a filmed class project.

As for other forced-to-read school/college books, you guys fail for not mentioning Ender's Game. uhuh

Ender's Game is boss. Psuedo-intellectual "rebel" nerds dislike it because it's too popular to appeal to them, but Ender's Game is boss.

I've never read any Lovecraft novels... however I find that I love works based on his... so at some point I should purchase his novels.

There is no arguing me out of this.

WILL do it.

I've read them, and oh believe me you will regret it.

@CosmicComet: Divine Dragons neck and head, 'bout 4-5k tons.

Soon I plan to be a bawss and force myself to read the entire Twilight series, to prove my manly fortitude and to justify my hatred of them.

lol I've already done this. Will be the most challenging thing you can do, trying to get through those books.

Pretty much this. I loved the fact that his brother takes over the world using the internet. That's my life's ambition.

Wasn't forced to read that one; I read it of my own free will. Several times, in fact. It was my dad's, and I snuck it down to my room one time and kept it there.

If you can, you really should. It is the German language at its prettiest.

I'll have to track it down again now 😛 wonder if they have it on the Gutenberg Project...

And Ender's Game was great, though I wasn't forced to read it at school.

Neither was I. I was just fascinated in the brutal killing that took place in the first 8 pages. So I read it and then the whole series. Was quite good in my opinion.

Douglas Adams kicks the crap out of every other author mentioned here.

This would be so awesome if they actually made it. Like, you don't even know. Soooooooo awesome.

That is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever seen.

And, leave it to MooCow to come in and say something that's wrong and absolutely everyone in the thread disagrees with. Leave it to Moo, man!

Iago's in a Machiavellian villain class of his own.

Never was forced to read Ender's Game. Hadn't even heard of it to be honest. >__>
Though it probably will be the next book I read. 😛
Anything I should be warned about?

Children brutality is prevalent within the story.

Ender's Game is overrated.

And no Blax, I was not, and am not wrong.

ummm what the hell? when did this come about?

"You know the Water Temple? Who thought it was tough or even horrible? I've lived with that for the last ten odd years. But with the 3DS we have a touch screen. You had to take off and on the iron boots constantly, right? So I'd like to lay the evil shame to rest, and add a feature to make the iron boots control much easier,"
