In what way have I not given something a fair chance? Purely out of curiosity of course.

You know, I am all for buying music and video games the "legal" way.

But, wow. If I were to illegally download music, I could get any song I want, at any time. And it's free. It's only when I try to do things the legal way, and I actually pay for it, that I get shit like, "this song is not currently available". IT IS AN MP3 FILE ON THE INTERNET. WHY IS IT "NOT AVAILABLE"? IT'S NOT AS IF THE DAMN THING CAN "SELL OUT".

And every game I've bought from Steam has had a game crashing bug in it, which is something I've never come across when I used to torrent all my games. ermm

Interesting stuff. Some of the changes would appear to be for the better, some are to compromise with the CELL, and some are just... confusing.

I agree, there should at least be more convenient ways if you pay for something, and that something should be the as good or better than what you can pirate...

Since we're talking about acting talent, I won a State award for most leet actor when our high school drama class went to competition. Wasn't even a member of the class. 😮

I find myself incredibly tempted to acquire Sonic Colors. Anyone here have an opinion on it?

Would somebody tell me why Demon's Souls is good? I'm not even going to reply, I just want to know what I apparently don't get out of it.

Upon its release in Japan, Demon's Souls was received well by critics. Dengeki scored the game 95/85/85/85, saying that "fans of old-school games will shed tears of joy." Famitsu gave it 29 out of 40 (9/7/7/6) with an editor calling it "a game you learn how to play by losing -- you'll face sudden death frequently. But! Keep playing... and you'll realize how deep it really is", while another editor found the game to be "far too stoic... it's not a game for everybody."

Upon release in North America, critical response was very favorable with an average critic score of 90% at GameRankings and 90/100 at Metacritic. Despite the game's high difficultly, many reviewers found it to be a positive aspect, making the game more rewarding to play. GameSpot called the high difficulty "fair", saying players will "undoubtedly take a lot of damage until you learn the subtleties of fighting each enemy, but combat feels just right." IGN echoed this view, encouraging players who "can remember the good ol' days when games taught through the highly effective use of negative reinforcement and a heavy price for not playing it carefully should scoop this up instantly." Game Informer called it "one of the first truly great Japanese RPGs of this generation, and certainly the most remarkable."
