Soul Calibur 2

I only mentioned fighting games for a reason... but I play one FPS, and one stab people in the throat game also.

PERHAPS BUT THATS STILL A LARGE AMOUNT OF FIGHTING GAMES,
also we should play brawl sometime

Hmm.

Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2?

I haven't played anything other than Wanted, and I'm not really interested in the other modes and will likely never play them. Anything team-based = not really my cup of tea.

ok, I wasn't sure, I just saw Manhunt, and figured he meant the game. I haven't played AC:Brotherhood yet, but it's next on my list. I get payed monday, hopefully I'll have it by then. ๐Ÿ˜„

Mass Effect 2.

I'd say "neither", myself.

Also supposedly they added a new map to Brotherhood - Rome at Dusk. But we have no idea how to get it...

Edit: Ubisoft are sneaky bastards.

Okay, you f*cking Potsies, listen up! Peach gave me the go ahead to come in here and make an announcement that the Movie Versus forum is recruiting some new regulars to come and debate movie fights. You think that Hogwarts magic can trump The Force? Do you think that John McClane from Die Hard can kick Lethal Weapon's Martin Riggs' ass? What about John Preston from Equilibrium against Hit Girl from Kick Ass?

The fun and bullshit never cease in the MVF! Stop talking about video game fights and come talk about movie fights for a while! We're always looking for new people to join in! Just remember to read the rules and use the search function! Thanks for reading and hope to see some new blood!

Is it bad that I haven't seen a single movie you just mentioned?

Star Wars, Harry Potter, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Equilibrium, and Kickass?

Wow. ๐Ÿ˜›

See all of them, minus Kick Ass. God, that movie sucked!

Well, I've only seen Star Wars and Harry Potter. And the Harry Potter movies are always a disappointment.

My lack of interest in movies is getting to be somewhat infamous, though ๐Ÿ˜›

The first HP film is magic, but the sequels are just so lame.

I dunno, Peach, you seem like you'd like Equilibrium. It's a very Matrix-esque kung fu/gun fu flick with awesome fights starring Bale-Man.

No I've seen the first three Star Wars episodes and Harry Potter, but technically you didn't mention those.

But I haven't seen any Lethal Weapon, have not even heard of Equilibrium, and wanted to see Kick Ass. Was told it was really good. Even saw one scene, liked that part. Then fell asleep once while Die Hard was on.

Besides, Drunken Rooster Cogburn beats everything up anyway.

I liked Equilibrium. The Harry Potter movies are meh-ish.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Nah, the first one wasn't very good. They've gotten better over the years, and Half-Blood Prince was the best so far, but I haven't yet seen Deathly Hallows Part 1.

And unfortunately, the Matrix is the only place I like that sort of thing ๐Ÿ˜› The Matrix and Star Wars are huge exceptions in that they're stuff that I normally do not like but still managed to grab my interest.

Unless you are unable to read...yes, he did mention Star Wars and Harry Potter.

Also, by first three, do you mean the Original Trilogy (first three to come out) or the Prequels (first three in canon chronology)?

Equilibrium is great, definitely a favorite of mine.

The age old debate in the MVF is Hogwarts magic against The Force.

Christ, there is a better chance of Syria and Israel becoming allied forces than this debate ever dying.

Reading comprehension, Moo! Do you speak it!

I think that HP magic could beat the Force as it's known within the original trilogy... but extended universe Force would dominate HP magic.

Pretty much this. Unless the new CGI Star Wars movie has done something new with the Force that would make me think otherwise.
