Generally when people have a valid opinion, they can provide better and less subjective reasons than "it sucks."This. Magnemite were originally just an oddity in the Pokemon world. Then you get stuff like Probopass and Combee... things which are simply too ridiculous for willing suspension of disbelief. I'm sure Gen IV gameplay is great, but I'm in this stuff to collect Pokemon. So I need Pokemon I want to actually collect.
While Combee did lack any real sense of inspiration, I thought Vespiquen made up for it.

You have, simply, no solid ground to stand on with any of your claims. You have failed to persuade me of your opinion, sir.
Overused applies not only to competitive play. Not to mention starters are by no means incredibly common. They'd be more so now, but not for a long time. Unless you had like, a die hard Charizard fan. Like Paste. Paste loves Charizard.
How about the fact that the color scheme sucks? Or that the spikes on his body are a pathetically failed attempt at making his awful design look more fierce?
Oh, and there is no way that every Pokemon created has been fapped too. That claim may be the most absurd thing posted here ever.

What does it matter to you what Pokemon someone uses if they're not battling against you? Besides, it's not like Lucario's a common Pokemon, either. Evolved from a Pokemon that hatches from an egg you're given...pretty much definition of uncommon. Starters are, in fact, more common, because everyone has and uses them.
What exactly sucks about the color scheme?
And LOL. Are you new to the internet or something?

But...Probopass.Well, he is pretty awesome. Hmm...
Groudon. Regice, Registeel, Regirock, Golem, Bronzong, Ursaring, Hitmonlee, Voltorb and Electrode, Jolteon, Magmar, Gastly, Koffing, Muk, Weezing, Raticate, and moar.
I don't even think I'd want to know how.
Edit: You just have me the perfect idea for trolling my little brother.

He's a competitive Pokemanzer, it matters, Peach. And "you can't beat the game without receiving it" is sorta common. you don't need to trade or anything.
If they're not battling him, though, it shouldn't matter. And since it only evolves if it's happy enough at a certain time of day...wouldn't say it's the most common thing ever. Not everyone wants to deal with that sort of hassle.

Also, Charizard kicks ass.
Lucario's color scheme is visually appealing. The dark blue color offsets the sandy tan, with black highlights to "pop" a bit. The whole thing works very well as a complete package. The design as a whole is a lanky humanoid, with thin appendages to make it look fast and agile (with baggy boxing shorts, because, well, boxer.).
And if you think there's a single Pokemon that hasn't been fapped to, you must be new to the internet. If I recall, all three Gen V starters were Rule 34'd and posted to 4chan in a little over an hour after they were first leaked.

And Peach, I once spent 2 weeks IV breeding and EV training a perfect Tentacruel. 😛 Hatching a Lucario is easy.
