Not to mention breaks systems and games.

Also you haven't answered my question - what about the color scheme 'sucks'?

But in a competitive scene, they /will/ use it against him. Since it's overused, and therefore common, it'll pop up a lot, impacting the way he plays because of it's impact on the metagame.

And Peach, I once spent 2 weeks IV breeding and EV training a perfect Tentacruel. ๐Ÿ˜› Hatching a Lucario is easy.

Not if they're not competitive players - which most people aren't. He said that it being overused doesn't have to only do with competitive play.

And, well...honestly, I think stuff like that is a huge waste of time. Who cares?

If you're cheating, why even bother? Even if you win 100% of the time, it's not because you did anything notable. You just used someone else's work to hack a game.

As long as the pokemon are tournament legal, the playing field at a tournament is fairly level. Some people just work a lot harder to prepare.

I didn't.

I remember once painstakingly training an Electabuzz to level 100, and I don't remember why.

Was too young to know about anything other than levels, though.

Talking about competitive with the Action Replay. And why do it? Because IV breeding is the worst thing that has ever been invented by mankind. Committing to doing it is basically selling your soul to competitive play.

I hate dark colors. The color scheme sucks. Lucario's shiny form would be way better if it looked like the Silver and Black one from Brawl. But I was pretty sure it has that vomit schemed red and blue thing in game. As for the regular, I just think it's too dark.

Why the **** am I explaining myself to you guys?

Again, if you're not putting the effort into it, why even bother? You're not doing anything that no other lazy player could do. If you train a Pokemon carefully up from an egg into a perfect storm of success, I can understand the pride in that. If you just use cheats to do the same thing and get out of all that work, you've not really achieved anything.

So then... subjective. Once again. It's not objectively bad, you simply personally don't like dark colors.

Victory in battles > raising a Pokemans to level 100.

Competitive play makes me dislike Pokemon....>_>

Except I've not once played Pokemon competitively, since Gen I on the playground at recess?

I....don't believe I've ever lost a battle to another person in a Pokemon battle.

Because I did it for fun with friends who were just as non serious about it as me.

Except when the ****er turns their game off when you're about to win. Then I hate them. >_>

That explains a lot.

MooCow, let me ask you something. What is wrong with enjoying Pokemon for the fun single player experience?

Nothing at all.

Then why do you care if we like playing Pokemon by ourselves or with a buddy? Why do you care if we think raising a Pokemon to level 100 is more enjoyable than winning tons of battles?

I don't. I was only defending the use of an Action Replay.
