Fecalphobe.

I am not afraid of solid waste, I just hate it with a burning fureh!

Dragon Age two today. I may make my return to these forums here so tread lightly. Your time runs short.

Yay!!!!

Hell yeah, Quan is back. Where's my popcorn? Next few days will be quite entertaining.

Quan is going to be playing the shit out DragonAge2, so prolly not.

My days are longer than yours.

qq

Soo... I beat Terra's storyline on standard mode and Ventus' on proud.

Time to do Aqua's on critical!

If you're a man you'll play Terra's on Critical. Holy ****. Then again, Aqua does fight similar bosses. Just not that whore called Dark Zack. Damn him. Damn him to hell.

TerraNort gave me the most trouble, even on standard. I was so frustrated.

Though to be fair, I also didn't know block and dodge role were useful abilities at the time.

TerraNort was a bastard. Beat him with the noobiest tactic ever. Was proud of myself.

Still, you have no idea the loathing I have towards Dark Zack. I don't think I've ever sworn so much at a fictional character since......

Yeah, I'm getting it too.

Admittedly magic in DA2 does seem more powerful than it was in Origins.

That said, BRING IT ON.

I've been bored without someone to provide me amusement by bouncing logic off of their impressively thick skull. 131 Welcome back, Quan.

efknd sgdsg sdfbh df I have been trying to install Dwarf Fortress for the past half hour AND HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY FAILING FFFFF **** COMPUTERS!

I think EVs have been around since the very first games. Gen III only introduced a limit on them. IVs were new though.

Gen IV was a complete 180 in gameplay from III. It went from a primarily defensive game back into offense. You should know this since you seem to focus on the gameplay system, which tells me you actually put more effort into the game than the story mode. Anyone casual would and should be focusing more on the Pokemon, the most important part of the game.

Gen IV kept the stuff that's been added while adding in the Battle Frontier, customized Safari Zone, the PokeAthlon, and managed to crush types weak to Rock into a fine powder.

V has so far fine tuned everything some more while putting in Pokemon sports minigames, the Pokemon musical, and some other stuff that I just haven't gotten to yet. So far the game is also more difficult. As well as being pretty fresh. There isn't a sight of an older Gen Pokemon until you unlock the National Dex.

But I only called that a fabrication because of the less and less original claim.

Yeah, pretty much.

Meh, I try to forget about Stealth Rock. Thanks for reminding me about its wretched existence. >: Skarmory and Spikes from generation III was enough for me, then they had to take it to a whole other level with a rock type version of the move. Lovely.
The Battle Frontier? That's been around since Emerald dude.

Still find the Pokemon musical rather silly, but I'll definitely give the minigames a try, as always. Figured as much about the rest.

And FireRed/LeafGreen are the best versions. All the simple style of the originals with the expansive additions from the following generations.

Heart Gold/Soul Silver had that too. Hell, I'd say it added more new things to G/S than Fire Red/Leaf Green did to R/B. For instance, the key item you can get that plays the music from the original Gold/Silver everywhere you go. FR/LG didn't have such an item, and I wish it did, because I enjoyed the good ol' music from R/B a lot more than the FR/LG remixes.

And have you seen Ludicolo? Mexican racism. At perhaps it's finest.

The music that Miror B (a Ludicolo trainer/fanatic) plays in Pokemon Colosseum didn't help much with that either. haermm

I....don't believe I've ever lost a battle to another person in a Pokemon battle.

Because I did it for fun with friends who were just as non serious about it as me.

Except when the ****er turns their game off when you're about to win. Then I hate them. >_>

It's even worse when they lie about why they turned their game off and said their "batteries were getting too low" instead of just flat out admitting that they didn't want to lose, which I've had happen to me on occasion..

I have to agree with Moo on Lucario. His colors are too flat and he's not visually striking in any way. The blue is too light and mellow and the blacks too gray and lifeless. And the sandy color is again, neither light nor dark, just a really boring color. He's stuck between too dark and not dark enough to be interesting looking imo.

At least according to his official picture.

I'm gonna have to agree with Moo as well for once, so sue me.

I think bringing three Fire Prisms and two Wave Serpents with Brightlances is a bit overkill and reeks of metagame bullshit Mechaloser. O:

Edit: Also, no one mentioned Deoxys, one of the few never gen Pokemon that is cool. For shame.

Deoxys is all right, but as far as generation III, Groudon was where it was at for me.

As for action replay, pretty much the only justifiable thing about it (to me) when it comes to Pokemon is using it to get certain ones that normally can't be obtained (Mew, Celebi, Arceus, etc). Fortunately though, the "events" Nintendo holds for those have become more and more accessible over time, so hacking isn't as necessary to get those legendaries now (for those who want 'em bad enough).

edit: Oh hey, Quan.

Spikes are an even bigger issue now since Ferrothorn, quite possibly the best spiker/stealth rocker ever in the history of Pokemon, was introduced in Gen V.

Not to mention the retarded ass change they made to Rotom's alternate forms.

Man, you are straight spiraling down the path. Dwarf fortress? Really? How's Minecraft?

Looks like you have a new way to try and trash my Torkoal, Paste. After all, your Forretress does such a poor job.

That fact that these two events coincided greatly amuses me.

In related news, I've never tried to play much of anything competitively, much less pokemon. Mostly because I'm terrible at building teams what the "I use my favorites" thing.
