But that is not difficult at all. It just takes patience, so it's annoying.

And dammit GK, you aren't getting any better with this. But this one doesn't make sense. Last time you said that cheating allows players that would not normally have any chance against certain people to battle at that level. This implies a belief in some amount of skill, when there is none.

The work doesn't make it worthwhile. If you think it does, fine, knock yourself out. But you don't play competitive, so maybe you and Aura should IV breed and EV train a team of six Pokemon and then tell me that you still feel this way. And I am fairly certain that you are both still under the impression that these Pokemon obtained through "cheating" have an unfair advantage. But I dunno how to make it any clearer that they don't unless made that way, and those mons are not used in legit matches.

Fun fact: Being patient is a challenge. 😐

And considering I don't plan on competing with anyone, why would I do that? 😮

So you can understand that this "cheating" is not anywhere near as bad as you currently believe it to be. Or don't. Don't really care.

Being patient is not a challenge. 😐 It's an annoyance. Quit trying to make it sound so glamorous. It's like trying to prove Justin Bieber should stick around.

my stance on action replay with pokemon I have no problem with using it to get a pokemon you normally can't get as long as you level it up yourself and what not I'm fine with it. Don't see the point in insta lvl 100 through a cheat though or anything like that.

haermm

Wait....seriously?

You seriously don't consider being patient to be a challenge?

No. It's as simple as "don't ****in' do that."

And when they do it anyway?

I can prove so easily that being patient is quite challenging with a quick search. Or, if you've ever been a mod anywhere you'd know how hard it is to be patient.

No...no it isn't.

Patience is overrated. Winners cheat. excellent

I have been a mod before. That doesn't prove anything, except that patience is an annoyance, which I said anyway. You realize it doesn't actually take any work, right? You just wait. And then time goes by. And boom, you've been patient.

Allowing them to compete, as in without cheating they wouldn't even be in the competition. Try to keep up, eh? I did not say there was skill involved beyond the patience and dedication.

Going to the trouble of preparing for competitive play goes against my nature. But were I to take part in a competition, I would certainly not cheat my way into it.

I also am not saying the Pokemon have an unfair advantage. It's you, the player, who has the advantage, by getting the same result with none of the effort. That is where you falter as a valuable competitor.

Simply waiting for things is a challenge that requires work and effort for some people. That's not exactly a difficult concept.

Ever had to deal with someone who gives you a ton of shit because he's too stubborn to change his ways? Yes you have. You're in the ****ing LLLC for Mew's sakes!

Not really. mmm

Modding takes responsibility, and some level of consistency, but not really patience. Then again, Link xat almost memefied my banhammer.

...I woulda preferred that over what /was/ made into a meme.

The only advantage that can possibly give is a more relaxed person because they aren't annoyed by all the time they wasted working to the exact same result. But dammit, they have respect!

How much energy does one use on the task of waiting?

Clearly you weren't very patient. haermm

Determination isn't necessarily patience!

Oh, sometimes it takes a ton of patience.

More than I generally have, for that matter ermm

In your case, it is. Or Scenario's rather. Dude is quite patient.

Scenario's pretty patient, yes. Shit's earned my respect many times.

Generally by the time I've been convinced someone's thicker than solidified bacon grease he's still bringing up the evidence he's already posted ten times.
